I envision him on a line with Cozens and Skinner. He likes to take the puck to the net, Skinner likes to clean up.

career -70 I know I know plus/minus is meaningless blah blah blah.... nonetheless, at even strength, they gave up more goals than they scored with him on the ice.

He's at a crossroads in his career... will he take the path laid out by those before him? The Eichel's, the Reinhart's, etc..? Or will he blaze his own trail? The ball's in his court.

He's had talent around him, he just didn't make anybody better which somebody of his pedigree should be doing. Sure, if he gets back to full health he'll add some offensive firepower... but along with that comes the lazy line changes, looking up to the rafters when something doesn't go right, a defensive liability, etc...

We know they're not talented enough it's the poor effort for long stretches that's concerning which should be addressed by the coach. If they play hard and lose we'd all be OK with it.

I find it comical that anybody would think Eichel is the missing piece to led Vegas to a Cup. He's a good talent, that's it. He's been in the league 6 years has put up only one 80pt season, scored 30g only once, has been out with injury 15% of the time. No awards, no playoffs, no nothing.

As per my source Krebs was the final domino to fall. KA held out and was rewarded. Brisson knew Vegas was close but they needed a little bit of a nudge to cross the finish line. It's highly likely the CGY rumor was sourced by Brisson and tweeted by Kevin Weekes (former teammate of KA) to give it just enough legitimacy to force Vegas's hand.

If he doesn't return this season I won't be surprised.

My source says Vegas took the bait and upped their offer overnight to include Krebs.
