  1. I agree... initially I suggested he stay in school another year, however as the year has worn on I'm comfortable signing him after his college season. Llet him finish the year with Roch, maybe even give him a game or two with the big club.... which is often part of the negotiations.
  2. Not a big fan of those uniforms, but as a third I'll allow it.
  3. The lack of attention to detail in the d-zone continues to plague this team. Won't matter how much talent they add. They'll continue to lose until they figure out how to defend.
  4. Logan Couture
  5. We have our answer in goal.
  6. He has 9 shutouts in 22 games, with 13 (at least) remaining. If he keeps his current pace, that's 5 more shutouts... shattering the current record.
  7. I don't believe acquiring better defensively capable defensemen will help. In today's game it's paramount to play sound TEAM defense. ALL players need to buy in and focus on defensive play as much or moreso than focusing on creating offense. Unfortunately, they've shown very little (if any) progress in that area. Only Granato and his staff can fix it... do they know how? I don't believe so, which is why I don't believe (never have) that he's a long term solution at the HC position. Do better.

  9. He's severely underrated by most. Hear me now, believe me later.
  10. Fwiw, one of my sources says there are no plans to remove the GM title from Adams.
  11. Dahlin Bryson Jokiharju Power Pysyk Miller Samuelsson Haag Butcher Novikov Laaksonen Fitzgerald Johnson Lyckasen Prow
  12. One or two solid vets is enough. Right now that's Okposo and probably Pysyk on the back-end, although I'd prefer bring in a higher quality veteran to mentor Power moving forward. A former All-Star type who's won a Cup or at least has ample playoff experience.
  13. Left off the Olympic roster.
  14. trade him as part of a package for McDavid
  15. Who would the starter be? Cossa?
  16. Ha, no it's not Craig.
  17. Haha, I do like him tho. I skated with him (and his Dad) a bit over the summer last year. That said I think he's a guy that will need a couple seasons in Rochester. He has a very slight build (he's actually closer to 5'11 than 6'1) and it will take him some time to figure out how to win pucks at the pro level since he won't be able to out leverage guys.
  18. hence... walmart
  19. walmart brian campbell
  20. He needs to make better decisions with the puck, particularly at the blue lines, but I really enjoy how he plays the game. That said, keep him in Roch the rest of the season. Buffalo has become a dumpster fire with their goaltending situation, let him slow roast in a winning environment. He'll kick the door down in camp next season.
  21. Quinn looks annoyed... a little sour about being sent back down maybe?
  22. On the flip side, they pull him out of college and he gets lit up on Roch... then what? I hope he stays in school, for another year even... more so for Portillo.
  23. Subban has a history of being injury prone. Anderson is 40. UPL has had a history of injuries of as well. What did they expect?
