    IMO it wasn't an effort issue. They simply had no answer for the Sens defensive system. They made zero adjustments to it, it was maddening to watch.

    Ottawa is aggressively challenging zone entries on the PK. The solution is to get the weak side forward entering the zone with speed while the puck carrier rims it in.

    Caligula, now here's a guy who I thought was a nice fit for how this team is trying to play. They're a much faster team with both him and Hinostroza in the lineup.

    I thought Tomkins played great today for Canada, he's in his prime and having a hell of season overseas. He wasn't the reason they lost.
