The only thing they owe Lindy, imo, is to give him the option to announce his own resignation rather than firing him/relieving him of duties.  They don't have to, but if he's gonna go, I'd like to see them give him the option.

I didn’t mean to imply that it doesn’t do anything for me because Pegula getting rid of Adams is a sign that he’s actually willing to trust somebody other a person who’s been in his employ since he bought the team. My hope is that Pegs can get over his Ruff worship to let Lindy be a direct report to JK moving forward because as much as I like and respect Lindy, I believe a change needs to be made there and if JK feels the same way he should have free rein to replace Ruff without Pegula’s ok.

I'm not impressed with this edition of Ruff as coach.  He had a 16 year run the first time, but by the end he was kind of defeated.  He came back and he looks defeateder.

The extensive search was for the senior advisor. That’s explicitly mentioned in the statement. But yes, we can all read between the lines and see that the initial search back in the summer was for the new GM.

I was in the gym when this announcement came out.  I used the Audacy App to listen to WGR sports.  They have been running Bills talk non stop, this is a few hours old now.  No one word on the Sabres yet.

This barely moves the needle for me personally. JK doesn't have some amazing track record and he's been here for 8 months already. Not sure his role, but my guess is he has had some input in the craptastic season.

It was the right time to make the change. I have a feeling there are more trades coming and if Sabres want to be in those discussions it is good it is with Jarmo as GM. Just really sad coinsidence with his father passing away.

I know the Bills are bigger, but this is a complaint I have with WGR. There are only so many times I can hear Joe from Cheektowaga agree with one of the hosts on a Bills topic before I am BEGGING to hear some other sports news.

The story was he was on a spying mission essentially to tell Terry what Botteril and the rest of the org was up to, was advising Terry about he he saw.  Yes, Terry asked him as an employee to do it, but it was seriously weasel-ly.

And lets not forget the lies to the fans about “extensive searches” and the taxes and palm trees line that other northeastern and Canadian teams don’t seem to be negatively impacted by.
