mjd1001 Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Ok, I think Power has played better this year overall, but tonight was not a good night. Simply put, he had costly mistakes tonight probably costing the extra point. 1 1 Quote

Marty Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Nice to have Kesserling, he’s steady and made several nice plays tonight 2 1 Quote
Gatorman0519 Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago The Sabres had their chances. Some bad decisions out there. They lack hockey IQ it seems. Quote

clink Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago 3 v 3 sux as it is That Ruff exposes his weaker components (looking DIRECTLY at you, Owen) is taking a $hitty scenario and making it untenable IMO 1 Quote

Crusader1969 Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago The one thing I'm happy with is that there were no "wow" goals. all 3 were hard fought goals that were scored because players were battling in front of the net oh and Quinn looked dangerous offensively and was skating extremely well one point isn't as good as two but it's better than none on to the next one 1 Quote

This team can never maintain any kind of positive momentum. Ever. They play well for a couple of games, just enough to pique your interest, then they inevitably do Sabres *****. This organization needs an enema, from the top down. 1 1 2 Quote
SABRES 0311 Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago OP is the UPL of defensemen. Given a deal he didn’t deserve in hopes he would become something he is not. We have had enough time to see what both players bring to the team and it’s simply not good enough. IMO it’s beneficial for all parties to move on. But we won’t. 1 1 1 Quote

7+6=13 Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago I think this is the type of team that will learn from this and it will fire them up. I hope I'm right about that. I sense this is a team that's not mentally soft. 3 Quote

What return would make it worth moving him then? That’s why they won’t trade him. There is no return suitable enough to convince Adams to give up his #1 draft choice. That’s the dilemma we are in. Once we have a different GM the odds go way up of a trade for quite a few of these guys. The next GM won’t be emotionally married to these guys like Adams is. 1 1 Quote
mjd1001 Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Dahlin just is having a rough start to the year. Overall he's been good, but you don't pay him as much as you do to be just 'good'. I don't think he should be on the PK. His positioning is always just slightly off. On the C-bus PP goal he didn't really do much except glide toward the front of the net and self-screen his own goalie. He gets enough ice time as it is, when the Sabres are on the PK, glue him to the bench. The PK is a matter of positioning mostly, any other D-man can do that (from what I have seen, probably better than he does on the PK) Quote
