Because he wants out of Buffalo. It’s already been reported he didn’t want to be here before he got here and still isn’t happy.

I’ve never seen these reports.

Yeah that is not what I got out of his draft day but ok

I don't buy that and never have. Mainly because it's never been reported by anyone credible and be signed long term.

Maybe he realized Kevyn was the only GM dumb enough to sign him to that contract

3 v 3 sux as it is

That Ruff exposes his weaker components (looking DIRECTLY at you, Owen) is taking a $hitty scenario and making it untenable IMO

Where are all the Power defenders now?

Where are all the posters that hate the Sabres?

There they are when we lose.  Scab!

The one thing I'm happy with is that there were no "wow" goals.
all 3 were hard fought goals that were scored because players were battling in front of the net

oh and Quinn looked dangerous offensively and was skating extremely well

one point isn't as good as two but it's better than none

on to the next one

I don't hate the whole team

But, there are a few components that should have their ice time reduced, or outright traded away

I just hate this perpetual mud hole we're stuck in. This team can never maintain any kind of positive momentum. Ever. They play well for a couple of games, just enough to pique your interest, then they inevitably do Sabres *****.

This organization needs an enema, from the top down.

OP is the UPL of defensemen. Given a deal he didn’t deserve in hopes he would become something he is not.

We have had enough time to see what both players bring to the team and it’s simply not good enough. IMO it’s beneficial for all parties to move on.

But we won’t.

Why? So he can continue to drag down this team and keep leading to more losses?

Healthy scratch him I'm done giving players their way when they sob and play half ass "bcuz Buffalo". What return would make it worth moving him then?

Ruff shouldn’t be a head coach in the NHL anymore.

I don't buy it because I've never heard it before.

I think this is the type of team that will learn from this and it will fire them up.  I hope I'm right about that.

I sense this is a team that's not mentally soft.

A legitimate veteran second liner or any established top six forward.

That’s why they won’t trade him. There is no return suitable enough to convince Adams to give up his #1 draft choice. That’s the dilemma we are in. Once we have a different GM the odds go way up of a trade for quite a few of these guys. The next GM won’t be emotionally married to these guys like Adams is.

Dahlin just is having a rough start to the year. Overall he's been good, but you don't pay him as much as you do to be just 'good'.

I don't think he should be on the PK. His positioning is always just slightly off.  On the C-bus PP goal he didn't really do much except glide toward the front of the net and self-screen his own goalie.

He gets enough ice time as it is, when the Sabres are on the PK, glue him to the bench. The PK is a matter of positioning mostly, any other D-man can do that (from what I have seen, probably better than he does on the PK)
