Flashsabre Posted 18 hours ago Report Posted 18 hours ago Adams: “Here Jarmo here is a bucket of black paint. Go start painting stripes on Power. This is the Sabres way”😁 4 Quote
CTJoe Posted 12 hours ago Report Posted 12 hours ago they show you what you want, but a good video. Interesting that Utah didn't want to give up Doan. I loved his father, maybe he'll be a pleasant surprise? 1 Quote
PerreaultForever Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Amusing how little of that was on free agency. I admit I did laugh however when Adams got the phone call from Quinn and asked him if he was in the weight room. 1 Quote

Is it though? I think taming a 400 lb wild animal with claws and teeth that will kill you, is way more difficult than painting a stupid house cat. Quote
Weave Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago I don’t know how anyone can still drum up enough curiosity to watch these. Then again, I don’t know how anyone can drum up enough curiosity to watch any media the team puts out. #jaded Quote
shrader Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago I really hope Bedkowski makes it. If you watch that video, you’re really going to like the kid. Quote

Yeah he looks like exactly what this teams needs and has needed for two decades. The org should be littered with mid to late round picks that play with snarl but they adopted this home run strategy where they just keep taking obscure skill guys up and down every draft. The last two drafts look better but we are living with the results of avoiding any players that play a rugged type of game. 1 Quote
kas23 Posted 44 minutes ago Report Posted 44 minutes ago (edited) I’m still waiting for the 13 game losing streak edition. I’ll even buy a ticket for a game if it’s thrown in. Edited 44 minutes ago by kas23 Quote

Yes….looking down the road a few years, a right defense group that includes Mrtka, Bedkowski and I’ll add Kleber from last year’s draft looks solid and difficult to play against. I am not overlooking Kesselring either, who I hope will bring some snarl that we need right now. Quote
pastajoe Posted 34 minutes ago Report Posted 34 minutes ago It should be called Sabres Impacted, as in impacted bowel movement. 1 Quote

That Aud Smell Posted 22 minutes ago Report Posted 22 minutes ago Who's the guy who sounds vaguely annoyed with Jerry Forton? Is that Ventura? ("As I've been telling you, Jerry ... .") Also, I can't watch stuff like this. The fact that the Sabres have Forton cosplaying as an NHL team's chief scout (that's how he comes off anyway) is too much to abide. Quote
LGR4GM Posted 21 minutes ago Report Posted 21 minutes ago My favorite part to this point is Terry trying to adjust his chair when Jarmo stands up to talk and being unable to. Quote

My guess is they cut off something to do with analytics and the player. Forton IMPO doesn't do a good job of considering the numbers, more of a feels guy. Quote

Forton comes off as fake and just trying to sound important. I’m annoyed by him. Quote
LGR4GM Posted 12 minutes ago Report Posted 12 minutes ago I don't like Forton but... some of what this reveals about Mrtka is truly interesting stuff. A lot of the Canadian and US kids are getting skating and skills coaches right from the get go. By jr A and certainly by Jrs you are working with those types of ppl. I do find it interesting that Mrtka didn't have that. With his June bday and finally getting that stuff once he got to Seattle, well, my curiosity is much more peaked. I like that Jarmo and Karmanos are sitting next to eachother. 1 Quote
Carmel Corn Posted 9 minutes ago Report Posted 9 minutes ago So no Eric Staal in the room….or did I miss seeing him? I guess he wasn’t important enough to be there or that he himself didn’t want to attend? Quote
