That's 7 RHD all 6'2" or bigger from the last 3 drafts. And Trethewey is also a rhd, he's just better than Bedkowski but 6'2" I am pulling for this guy. 1 Quote

Most say he's 3 years out but I think he will challenge that timeline. Helenius didn't do anything spectacular, but his continued evolution as a pest who is hard to play against is a welcomed development. From what you saw, can Helenius become a new version of Christian Ruuttu? Quote

Flashsabre Posted 9 hours ago Report Posted 9 hours ago On the bright side the Sabres prospects usually do well in this tournament then the main Sabres team sucks in the regular season. Maybe since the prospects 💩 the bed that the main team will make the playoffs this year.😛 I think they need to see what they can get if anything for Rosen. 1 Quote
LGR4GM Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago Novikov should be given a chance to make the Buffalo roster. He's better than Bryson and maybe better than Samuelsson. Quote

bob_sauve28 Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago This doesn't sound good for Ostland and Rosen Quote This Sabres squad featured several established AHLers, including two forwards with NHL experience in Isak Rosen and Noah Östlund. But on multiple occasions during the tournament, Leone identified that fourth line, comprised of 2025 draftees Rucinski, Novotny and Matous Kucharcik, as his best. https://www.nhl.com/sabres/news/buffalo-sabres-pittsburgh-penguins-2025-prospects-challenge-recap-highlights Quote
That Aud Smell Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago the fact that Östlund didn't light sh1t up is very concerning to me. (i've heard and read - and even saw a little - about he was dynamic ... but the absence of tangible results in a prospects tourney is concerning.) Quote

Kid projects to be a minor leaguer this season and peak as a Ryan McLeod. He played 3 games, got one goal, was his team’s most noticeable forward. 🤷 1 Quote

I wonder how much games like this really mean to the guys who have been in the system for a while. Those 4th line guys mentioned earlier are playing to catch attention. These “vets” have eyes set on a completely different finish line. Some might want to use that to question heart, but I can’t get to that point. These games are so small in the big picture. 1 Quote
