I'm not sure when exactly things changed there, but the consistency with wings is just lacking. The Gate used to be my go-to for out of towners who wanted an authentic wing experience. But, like I said, "YMMV" in recent times.

The vibes in there are still good. And the grub is generally solid.

At the risk of derailing the thread: My current go-to for wings is Adolf's in the First Ward. I just love that joint.

I went to GG before the home finale and thought the wings were excellent.

Serious question:  could the lack of an announcement portend greater changes?  TP has never kicked anyone upstairs before.  Just the opposite -- he gets fed up and fires everyone, damn the torpedoes.

We're still early in the playoffs, i.e. well before the draft and the FA season.  Is it possible that TP wants to see who from around the NHL becomes available from teams that get knocked out of the playoffs so he can maybe hire someone with a real resume and not just shuffle the deck chairs on the Titanic?

With each passing day, does that outcome become more likely?

I heard the net has been cast so wide it could take weeks to get through all the high caliber candidates😁

I would love to hear that the delay in any announcement is that they have some legit outside the organization hires coming in but we all know they are reshuffling the deck chairs and a few assistant coaches might be turfed.

I'm pretty sure the problem with the whole "kicked upstairs" issue talked about and speculated on here is there is no upstairs. There's just Terry and Terry doesn't want anybody else "upstairs". I don't see that changing. They boarded up the door to "upstairs" when Pat LaFontaine left.

They're going to run it back. Sign their rfas and run the same team back with Norris instead of Cozens and Levi instead of Reimer.

They lack imagination and vision. Terry Pegula is just white toast with butter while everyone else can at minimum cook some eggs and bacon.
