Karma for Eichs acting

No. It was because Okposo made a soft play back to the blueline and the Blues player jumped on it.

Refs tried their best to ###### us there at the end.  Great win.  Gutty effort.

Such a bs call.

Huge win against a top notch opponent.

One point back. The "too many teams to leapfrog" thing doesn't really apply anymore. If we keep playing like this, we'll likely make the playoffs. We control our own destiny.

I love the optimism.

We'll be on break next week -- so by next Saturday Boston, Toronto, and Ottawa will all have played 2 or 3 more. We will learn patience.

Good, fun game. Lehner and Eichel were our best players. Kane very solid. Nice effort. Now... let's get a pint or two tomorrow, too.

  or point.

That might have been the Sabres best game of the season.

Consistent, hard, fast and in control. Where has that puck support been all season?

And against a very good, very hard team.

Robin Lehner was an icy wall.

If that how he is going to look with a good team in front of him, lock him up.

And Jack... simply magnificent. Might have been the most complete game I've seen him play.

So mature, so in control, trusting his teammates, making the plays the game offered and using every available inch.

That was how I imagine Jean Beliveau must have looked.

Ever since Robin called Jack out, both Robin AND Jack have been superb.
