For me this season was a big success. I did not realistically expect the playoffs. I wanted to see improvement and they did just that. I agree - a couple months ago it looked like the team was struggling to hit 70 points - and yet they finish the season with 81. Team is moving in the right direction under GMTM. I hope the results strengthened his position in the organization enough so he doesn't have to worry about being "Battista-ed" and can finish what he started with minimal interference from others in the company.
