British fanny or North American fanny?

Fenwick sounds British, no?

Well now that question lies within in the eye of the beholder.

However since a sports team of ours is in London, let's go with British for today

'British for'....... Is that BF? What is our BF%? Does it get better on Wednesdays after 8PM with less than 50% chance of rain?

NJ is 22nd in 5v5 CF%, BUF 6th...

29th in PDO is what's killing the Sabres (namely poor shooting % for).... NJ is 25th not much better,   They're 26th and 27th in goals for %.

PDO is telling.   As the season wears on, each teams PDO should move toward 100... which for Buffalo translates to more wins and more losses for teams near the top like Montreal, Arizona, and NYR.

Please, someone who went to the fancystats conference, send me the materials!

Honestly, it won't help with the basics. The conference was geared towards those actively working on, or at least following, recent developments. How much time are you willing to dedicate? There's some good intro stuff out there that can be looked over in its entirety within an hour. Hockey Abstract is still the go-to for a wide net of everything out there, but I'm going to guess 150+ pages of hockey stats isn't high on your priority list.

If it's just pages of stats, it's not going to tell me anything. I need to know what the stats are intended to convey.

I have read enough intro stuff to know what Corsi and Fenwick are, though
