Hoss
Shawn Stepner @StepnerWKBW #Sabres goalie Nathan Lieuwen just left First Niagara Center with his gear. Tells @HannahBuehler he's been sent down to AHL Rochester. (1/2) Shawn Stepner @StepnerWKBW With Lieuwen in Roch, that means #Sabres need a backup goalie for tomorrow's game against #Canadiens #Habs #Buffalo #Montreal (2/2)
TrueBlueGED
Hopefully we traded for Miller. I want to see how close we could get PA to full meltdown :p
darksabre
Hopefully we traded for Miller. I want to see how close we could get PA to full meltdown :P  Maybe Ullmark is coming up for a look?
bob_sauve28
Maybe it means they have full confidence in Johnson and Lieuwan won't be needed here so he's back to AHL to get some game time in

Hoss
Has Ramo already cleared waivers? Yes, sent to the AHL Shawn Stepner @StepnerWKBW I'm told the #Sabres will have a new backup goaltender by tomorrow night vs. #Canadiens. Look for Ullmark or Makarov up from #Amerks. #Habs

WildCard
I guess I just don't get the move. I'd much rather have Ullmark or Makarov up here, but have one of them been playing so well to earn a promotion? It's not like Lieuwen has done anything wrong up here
JJFIVEOH
Back to back games this weekend, probably wants to get a look at Ulmark. Question is, which game does he play? I guess I just don't get the move. I'd much rather have Ullmark or Makarov up here, but have one of them been playing so well to earn a promotion? It's not like Lieuwen has done anything wrong up here With Lieuwen's concussion issues, I don't think Murray sees him as part of the future. Unfortunately........ he looked pretty good the limited time he was up with the big club.
French Collection
A bit of a kick in the teeth for Lieuwen. He probably has been told by GMTM where he stands. I'm curious to see Ullmark play, I hope he gets a game. I get the impression he may be Lehner's partner in the near future. Swedish tandem. dudacek
Or maybe it's actually to get Lieuwen some work in the AHL, while Chad keeps playing? Edited October 23, 2015 by dudacek
woods-racer
Or maybe it's actually to get Lieuwen some work in the AHL, while Chad keeps playing? But why right before a back to back where he gets some NHL time?

French Collection
I still think GMTM wants to see Ullmark get a game. Put him in against the Habs, our backup vs theirs, no excuses if they lose.

As a separate matter, how far north in Ontario do you hail from? Just curious -- I've always been interested in the map of the GWN.
Hoss
has it been confirmed Chad will sit once this weekend? You don't go into a game with one goaltender. They'll need a backup.
dudacek
You don't go into a game with one goaltender. They'll need a backup. Of course not. What does that have to do with the possibility of Johnson starting back to back?
French Collection
I've been around most of northern Ontario. Raised near Thunder Bay, lived near Timmins for 10 yrs and currently near North Bay. I've worked as far north as the coast of Hudson's Bay,and along the Manitoba, Minnesota and Quebec borders.
