darksabre
A lot less skating and a lot more reaching this period. Talent gap caught up.
SwampD
So, would this be considered Alamo mode? Talent gap caught up. Yulp.

SwampD
Montreal really wants to win this. I think they are only playing two lines right now.

darksabre
Good work around their own net. Lots of stick work. Really engaging the Montreal forwards. Especially that little punk Gallagher.
SwampD
Why can the goalie come back on the ice after an icing after he's been pulled? Edited February 4, 2015 by SwampD

WildCard
Good win, you can't lose'm all. Avoided the futility records of expansion teams, beat Montreal in Montreal for Gionta and Georges, Myers gets violent at the end, and I agree with Sizzle: Enroth is a starter, no doubt about it. darksabre
...I'm tired of the "is Enroth a starter" thing. He's starter caliber. He's what I'll label as "serviceable". He could probably backstop a team to a Cup.
dudacek
Oh boy, that was a rough ride at the end. But no futility records for us this time.

JJFIVEOH
We need Angry Myers more often, not once every 15 games.
Norcal
Why can the goalie come back on the ice after an icing after he's been pulled? That's an interesting question, he wasn't on the ice when it was iced. Hmm
Tondas
We need Angry Myers more often, not once every 15 games. True. Gordo from Dodgeball comes to mind.
thewookie1
Girgensons played over 22 minutes during the game, 3rd on the team in skaters (Myers, Gorges) And seemed to win a ton of faceoffs in that crucial final 5 minutes. Enroth has always seemed to be a borderline starter, he's not consistent enough season-wide however his skill is certainly starter grade. What happened to Flynn, he used to be so trustworthy, like a Girgs-lite, but he's seem to have just become incapable of any offensive play. I was certainly happy though for both the losing streak breaker and Gorges and Gionta getting the win.
