a few more motivational quotes for the big game against EDM.... these seemed to work last time around:

“You miss 100 percent of the shots you take.”
Wayne Gretzky

"Always give up! Failure and rejection are only the first step to defeat.”
Jim Valvano

“Failure is the gradual result of always striving to do worse.”
Pat Riley

"Set your goals low, and stop when you get there."
Bo Jackson

"Keep your eyes on the ground, and your feet on the ground."
Theodore Roosevelt

"Failure is simple. Do what's wrong, the wrong way, at the wrong time."
Arnold H. Glasow

"Failure comes from knowing that you did your best to become the worst that you are capable of becoming."
John Wooden

These are very nice glasses that you are wearing on your face.  In my old country, we would say you look hkipster.  This is very popular in Moscow and Petrograd.  I think you look and write like a funny hkipster.  Tee-hee-hee.  :P

Murray V

(Standing on a table at the 716 after a few Amber Pops)

Murray:  What’s he that wishes so?

My cousin, Nolan? No, my fair cousin;

If we are mark’d to tank, we are enow

To do our teams loss; and if to live we live to draft,

The fewer men, the greater share of honour.

God’s will! I pray thee, wish not one man more.

By Kim Pegula's eyetooth, I am not covetous for 9th place,

Nor care I if the league board of governors makes rule changes so I can't do this again ;

It yearns me not if men wallow in crested Sabres shame;

Such outward things dwell not in my desires.

But if it be a sin to covet McEichel,

I am the most offending soul alive!

No, faith, my coz, wish not a man from Buffalo!

Christ on a bike! I would not lose so great an honour

As one man more methinks would share from me

For the best hope I have. O, do not wish one more!

Rather proclaim it, you dumbasses, through my host Pegula,

That he which hath no stomach for this Shart;

Let him depart; his waiver shall be made ,

And we'll waive his sorry ass and his purse;

We would not tank in that man’s company

That fears his fellowship to tank with us.

This day is call’d the Feast of Shart!

He that outlives this day, and comes safe home,

Will stand a tip-toe when this day is nam’d,

And rouse him at the name of McDavid...(or at least Eichel).

He that shall live this day, and see old age,

Will yearly on the vigil feast his neighbours,

And say “To-morrow is Saint McEichel!.”

Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars,

And say “These wounds I had on McEichel’s day.”

Old men forget; yet all shall be forgot,

But he’ll remember, with advantages,

What feats he did that season. Then shall our names,

Familiar in his mouth as household words-

Enroth the Goalie, Hodgson and Stafford,

What's his name on defense? and Strachan, Weber and Benoit-

Be in their flowing cups freshly rememb’red.

This story shall the good man teach his son;

And McEichel or  shall ne’er go by,

From this day to the ending of the world,

But we in it shall be remembered-

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;

For he to-day that sheds his blood with me

Shall be my brother; be he ne’er so vile,

This day shall gentle his condition;

And gentlemen in Buffalo now-a-bed

Shall think themselves accurs’d they were not here in 2015,

And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks

That fought with us upon winning the Shart!

I do poem.  I hope for success for tank.  It's for kids.  Yuri edit some.

Rebuilding, revising, and drafting again,

Our prospects are tied to the skills of these men.

If bottom they seek, then bottom they’ll find,

But if bottom they keep, than these ties I’ll unbind.

I hope you like.

Anna---you know why the Russian people revolted in 1917???

They discovered that THE TSAR and THE CZAR were the same person.

With all respect, that is not why we revolt, Mr. Calti.  It is not for spelling.  We want a better life.

You have things well.  No lines for only bread.  I like you.

It was good, this sunshine today.  I think it is more sunny than I have ever been here.  It will be good.  Tomorrow will be good for us who cheer.  We go, Sabres!

You also think 4 is a letter.  I don't mind the backwards-forwards K thing, but we need to have a talk about the difference between letters and numerals.

It really seems like Edmonton has a knack for getting within a few minutes of overtime or a (Carrion) loss, and then totally blowing it at the very end. Kinda frustrating.

And as we move onto Edmonton I will say for the only time in my life: The Sabres better lose this freaking game.

The idea of this thread is for the Sabres to "win."

MPP = Maximum Possible Points

IT'S HERE!!!!!

The battle of the vincibles is finally upon us. This could give the Sabres a COMMANDING 4 point lead in that barrel race sans barrel to the base of the Falls or it could knot everything with each team holding home ice disadvantage. The 5 bagger that ALL CHL tilts aspire to be.

5 others also in action including the Desert Dogs venture into Loaf-land. Cowawado, Joisey, and the Candy Canes are the fortunate CHLers that can kick back and watch the ribbeting battle in the ol' Eul patch.
