I don't know about elsewhere, but track one Do I Wanna Know? is getting a ton of airplay here in Rochester and I dig it. Decided to give the whole album a listen this morning and so far it's quite good. Lots of catchy guitar riffs and choruses that get stuck in your head right away.

Full album on YouTube in very good quality:

I went to an Arctic Monkeys show in Raleigh a few years back. It was the first concert I've been to where I felt really old, I was in my late 30's and everyone else seemed to be about 10-15 years younger. I like the AM's, good brewing music.

Hadn't thought much of them until I saw them open for the Black Keys in Toronto. Lead singer was in a leather jacket and ripped riot tank with slicked back greaser hair. And damn were they good live. I'd gotten floor tix and was feet away. He was really into an iggy pop cover and I swear I was in love. I've enjoyed their music a lot more since that performance. Definitely something lost in the recording, though. Such energy in those guys. Gritty little band.

Hey SFinNS! Don't take this the wrong way, but I was just thinking about you in bed. A song — a most gorgeous song — came on my local public radio station and I had to post it for you. Maybe you've heard it. T. Buckley, "The Maritimes." A part of me, will always be, at peace in the Maritimes.

New album not out until 4/1, but the boys of Steel Panther released all the songs on YouTube today...complete with cable porn channel scrambled video. My favorites...Pussywhipped starts with a Metallica-esque classical guitar intro and morphs into skull crushing heaviness. And Bukakke Tears, because they made a song titled Bukakke Tears.

For the life of me, I can't get that One Direction song out of my head. These are 16-year-olds singing about "The Story of My Life". I mean...how much is there to sing about???

It should at least be a shorter song. Or a cover of Bad Religion.
