Complaint Thursdays

The guy in the seat right behind you who screams SHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOTTT anytime the puck touches a stick on the power play. How I loathe him. Same guy who screams GET THE PUCK OUTTA THERE! during the entirety of a penalty kill.

The worst is when the great GITSBY (guy in the seat behind you) has a young son screaming the same thing because he wants to be just like his intolerable dad.

I have season tickets at a Division I college - the same group of people in our section keep doing that game after game, year after year. And yes, they even do so when the defenseman is bringing the puck up the ice - usually around the time he reaches HIS OWN blue line. Never mind the occasional comment about how terrible they're playing, as if the opposing team has nothing to do with it.

I shouldn't joke since you could have a brain tumor or something but... do you see the spinning swirly thing like in the movies?

Thanks for caring (seriously!).

No, I haven't had anything that severe like the swirlies... yet. However, the headaches feel rather dull. Then there are times when I feel fine. The lack of consistency is irritating to say the least. <_<

I think it's interesting that you should bring up the "brain tumor" issue. My grandfather died of it about two months before his 54th birthday in 1982 (and I'll be 40 next year).

In-Laws.

BLOODY IGNORANT FOUL SELFISH FAT A$$HOLES!!

I have had it with them. They are lazy and stupid and mean and I hate them.

Ditto, although they're not fat. They say they're coming, but they don't say when they're showing up or when they're leaving. The call us the day before they arrive (it's a 3 day drive from FL to MN, so they're in IA) and then one morning I wake up and they are all packed and on their way home (typically 1-3 weeks later)! Just down right rude!

Better get that checked out. Hopefully it is nothing but a sinus infection. It can easily mess with your equilibrium.

DVRs only being able to record two channels. I want to record SVU and Criminal Minds every Wednesday night. Well the Sabres are playing on Wednesday as well. So my DVR forces me to cancel one of those recordings or it will change my channel away from the Sabres to one of those games. Can I please have the ability to watch one station and record the other two?

My boss said "supposably" today. That word is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

My mouth feels like a week old ashtray full of stale beer. I've eaten two of those processed meat packet thingys, taco bell (nachos, pintos & cheese, double decker taco, & volcano taco), two large brad's cookie nook CC cookies, and a bag of Doritos and I can't shake the damn taste!

I just went out for lunch and it came out to $5.19. I gave the cashier $10.19. She sat there with a confused look on her face for a few seconds before figuring it out. I'm easily annoyed by cashiers who don't have a clue, but this was easily the single dumbest moment I've ever run into.

I'd be more worried about my o-ring if I were you.

Especially sad since cash registers tell them how much to give back.

Not quite as bad, I had .24 coming back in change so I hand the cashier a penny and say something in the line of making it easier if I give them a penny. They start pulling out more pennies. What; I gave them a penny so their life is easier if they only had to pull out 3 more?

I appreciate your concerns. Now for the good news and bad news.

Good news (even though I could reserve it for PASabresFan's Saturday thread): the ENT specialist told me that it was more likely due to work-induced stress, so no vertigo there. Plus, he told me to cut back on salt, caffeine, and fried-type foods. (This is motivation for me to try to lose between 40-50 pounds). At least I have a NordicTrack treadmill at home to walk on.

Bad news: Since my family doctor gave me an indefinite out-of-work notice from last Monday, I had to send that in to my company. Given that the initial diagnosis was vertigo-like symptoms, this became a DOT factor. There is no way a safety-conscious trucking company would allow me to drive under those conditions. Now, I have to wait for my ENT specialist to fill out a specific return-to-work form as to why I should be allowed to drive again. This could not have come at a worse time. Two weeks with no paycheck.

95. Finding out our other office is getting prizes, free food, and great equipment while I have to kick my workstation to keep it from buzzing and pay for Cokes. Finding out because I started following them on Twitter makes it that much more fun.
