I agree with this much less than I would have a few months ago. I'm really encouraged by what the kids have done the last few weeks. I'm not sure if Granato is the answer at coach, but lm not opposed to finding out. If Jack isn't on board with the direction the team is going I say quietly move him in the off season, I'm okay seeing how the team develops with a center spine of Sam/Mitts/Cousins/Beniers. Add in whatever pieces we get for Jack and it might be okay.

I wish they would go in a different direction. I think the league would be a better product if players could not be drafted before their 20th birthday, their ELC ran five seasons instead of three then they were UFAs, and contracts after the ELC could not be longer than three years. With a hard cap (which the NBA don't really have) you can't build a "super team" because there's not enough cap room to pay more than a few players.

Sam's play on the ice doesn't do it for you. Seems to be doing quite well playing center. I haven't been able to watch so have little more than the stats to go by so you may be seeing things I do not. In his current role, does he not look like a leader to you? If not, why?
