  1. More like the Kenmore of Nashville but not the point. You called the region purposely ignorant, which DOES include Nashville, based on your personal prejudice towards a geographic location.
  2. ^^^^ that was a reply to you in the president hopeful thread Eleven, so yes I did tell you.
  3. I fixed the bolded. You know I live outside Nashville, I've told you personally at least twice.
  4. And, you started it when you labled my part of the country"willfully ignorant" You're right, I'm out.
  5. I know you mean patriot in a derogatory way, but I take pride in spending most of my adult life serving my country. I guess you think you took a more noble path transitioning from ambulance chaser to child molester.
  6. Shots fired? I did not quote you or mention your name. I'm not a fan of generalizations and assumptions, especially regarding something as serious as racism. Given what has currently come out it's intellectually dishonest to imply that Oliver was treated unfairly because of his skin color. Many people believe that lawyers lack morals. There have been scandals about clergy abusing kids. Would it be accurate to assume you're an immoral child rapist based on your previous and future profession? This is the 3rd or 4th time you've recently taken a personal shot at me, unprovoked. If I was going to take a personal shot at you I'd tell you your recent posts in another thread came across as a bit racist. I'd then tell you that your assertion that a large portion of our population, including the decent sized city of Nashville, was "willfully ignorant" based solely on their geographic location, was a very ignorant and prejudicial thing of you to say. I'd say that ignorance is ruled out because of your extended higher education which means you're just prejudiced. Than I'd point out that it's a small step to get from prejudiced to racist, but I didn't do that. Look, I get it. You lost what should have been a high paying job if you were any good at it and your stressed. If you need a distraction while trying to transition during your later years of life I'm willing to help. I'm financially well off, bored and willing to go back and forth with you, but we should probably move it to PM.
  7. According to local news he was driving 80 in a 45, weaving through traffic pulling a trailer, had an open beer and failed a field sobriety test. But yeah, it MUST be racism.
  8. The above average production offsets the point you're trying to make.
  9. Where also matters though. I could driving Cuba to Hinsdale all day long, but wouldn't think about it driving in N/Tonawanda.
  10. I agree completely. I think if we also get decent improvement from Joki, Kahun gets comfortable, and Skinner bounces back, it's enough to make them a playoff team regardless of what's done at 2C.
  11. The man was drinking a beer while driving and another driver called 911 when they saw it. But yeah, it must be because of his skin color. I don't know who's dumber, Oliver or the idiots claiming racism. Not to mention the hypocrisy of these claims coming from people who railed against the NBA in general, and LeBron in particular for doing what every sports league across the globe will do before starting up.
  12. I wonder if this pandemic will actually help President Trump get re-elected.
  13. I think the seven Canadian teams combined bring in about 1/3 of the NHLs revenue sharing income?
  14. It's not irresponsible at all. There's nothing shameful about it.
  15. Good. I hope he doesn't.
  16. What if coming out of the current pandemic the six Canadian teams said ***** Bettman, ***** America, ***** the NHL, and seceded to form their own league? Let’s pretend there were no legal hurdles, could it succeed? How many teams could a Canadian league support? 12? I’m thinking two teams would work in each of Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Add in Quebec City and Hamilton. Where else? Halifax? Regina? Could a Canadian league get enough TV money from TSN/CBC/Sports Net to support it? If the league competed with the NHL, could it offer comparable salaries? Do you think Canadian boys would opt to stay home or cross the border? Thoughts?
  17. Yes, NBA players will probably need ongoing testing. So will NHL players. So will NFL players. The nature of their job requires it. Do you believe nursing home residents who need testing can't get them because the NBA is buying them up? If so, why? Many players across a variety of sports leagues around the globe have tested positive. I don't know the circumstances lead to any of them being tested. Does it really matter? If I needed to be tested I could go on base and get it done. Should I feel guilty about it? You're a lawyer, right? I assume of at least moderate success? Could you not find a way to get tested if you needed to? Should you feel guilty about it? Would you and I getting tested mean that two other people who to be tested won't be able to? Some people won't/can't get tested for a variety of reasons, regardless of how many tests are purchased from private labs by sports leagues. Isn't THAT the point?
  18. An employer who had some employees test positive for corona purchased tests for other employees in an effort to contain the spread of the virus. It's not only understandable, it's appropriate. Is the contention that because this employer purchased those tests for his employees from a private lab that critically ill patients who desperately needed them couldn't get them? If that's the argument I don't think it has any merit. I don't understand the pearl clutching over it.
  19. Expecting people who live in the same house to maintain six feet from each other because they happen to be grocery shopping or out for a walk are really ***** dumb. Those people need to come down off their high horse and shove their fake morals right up their ass.
  20. Not sure if you know the answer to this, but I don't, so I'm going to ask. Also, I'm not attempting to be pissy with you, I'm genuinely curious. This is also not NBA specific, but sports leagues in general. Are players personally buying tests? Are teams buying tests and administering them to players? Are leagues buying tests and distributing them to teams? I think who's doing the purchasing changes the perspective, at least in my opinion.
  21. The nature of their job puts them at a significantly higher risk than the average person. Because of that risk mitigation needs to be greater. Do you see it differently?
  22. Help me out, what did I miss?
  23. Drones. Personally, I have no problem with them being used by law enforcement. I believe I'm in the minority and would like to read opinions from people who are against them.
  24. State parks and golf courses opened in middle Tennessee last week. Restaurants/malls opened a few days ago. Gyms open back up on Friday. Masks are not required here and I see few people wearing them. On Fort Campbell, KY you're required to wear a mask going into any building. I don't get on base much so I'm not sure when that started.
