Something about Josh. Some of his throws slightly high or slightly outside, just out of reach or off of finger tips. His receivers are 5'11", 5'8", 5'8", and his RB is 5'7". If we can find a decent WR with size in FA to go with the one we'll likely draft, factoring in probable longer arms to go with the height we might be looking at an increased catch radius of of 10-14" per man. That's a huge difference. Josh may look like a very good QB next year.

Personally, I don't believe in God. Parting of the red Sea, the Virgin Mary, water into wine, Noah's ark, the whole thing. I don't understand how educated people buy into the whole idea of a supreme being that can't be seen or touched but lives in infamy. So, you missed your mark on that one. This also isn't the forum for it. I prefer not to come across the religious hate nonsense on a hockey forum. Maybe I'm peculiar that way.

Your right. Discussion is always better when posters inject it with hate speach and witty nicknames to make them feel better about their own ***** lives. Sure your right.

I've been a supporter of McDermott and Beane from day one. This team was a tire fire when the came in. It looks like they started by shedding salery cap and questionable work ethic / malcontent players. Then they focused on improving the D, making it one of the best in the league while also getting the QB of the future. This year they improved the O line and may have added a very good RB. Next year is a very deep WR class, which I think is their biggest need. I think they've done a very good job so far, are trending in the right direction, and the future is bright. I'm excited. But for me, the best part about this year hasn't been the record, or the playoffs. It's that my eyes haven't been subjected to the Bible thumping wrassler mcjesus hate of years past. And the mcbeane/mcclappy nonsense has been minimal.

I'm with SDS. You come across as someone who's always hated McDermott/Beane and if they were to somehow win a super bowl you'd bitch that they didn't do it the right way and it's not sustainable.

Yes, the Senate trial will be a sham, just like the house trial was a sham, just like this whole impeachment was a sham. I fear this will bite Dems in the ass come election time. -

Two players on the Preds I'd be interested in acquiring are Smith and Watson. -
What do you need to see before you're totally bought in?
Hank replied to StuckinFL's topic in The Aud Club
Last year Pittsburgh finished with more points than two teams that had a better deluca .500 record. It happens every year. Deluca .500 doesn't matter. Points does. Three OT losses are more valuable than one win. -

Since the NHL set itself apart from every other sports league with it's unique points system, making it the only points system that matters, even though you are factually correct. -

32 games played. 32 points = .500. 36 points = above .500. -

Three games in four nights in Western Canada and they go .500. Three games over .500 on the year and contending for a playoff spot. This team is better than last year and I'm encouraged. I'm still bought in. -

The wife and I finished binging it over the weekend. We enjoyed it, thank you for the recommendation. -
Yes, pot meet kettle. I'm guilty. I'm not trying to pile on, just offering an observation.

Diaspora? I've never seen that word before. Had to Google it ?

I'm not sure arrogance is the right word, but I also don't think it's totally unfair. As I told you in another thread a few days ago, you seem to have an inability to accept that it's okay for people to have a different opinion to yours and tirelessly try to convince people that "your" opinion is the"right" opinion. You are sometimes condescending and dismissive while doing so. How many different posters on how many different topics will it take for you to realize that you may have a hand in why you feel so many posters take issue with you?

I agree the loser point is idiotic, but it's the system they use. -

I would argue it's not really a good point, because NHL .500, bonus points and all, is how you make the playoffs, not deluca .500. But, I understand why people like to use it, right or wrong. -

We all get your point, it's just that some of us don't share your opinion on deluca .500, and that's okay. It's okay to disagree. Barbarian? If that's used in a derogatory way, and I'm pretty sure it is, how is that any better/worse than calling someone a snowflake? Shouldn't you be above that, being as you're a moderator who brings down the ban-hammer? -
Not just Ralph. Four head coaches and their staff's. Four consecutive NHL head coaches and their staff's are too stupid to see what is so clear to guys on a keyboard? No.
