How is this Sabres PK so decent (5-on-4) against Edmonton's power play and all season, when they face the Sabres static PP in practice?

I'm looking at the ice time, and he's 4th amont D-men in ice time, Well behind Samuelsson and Bryam, and a couple seconds behind Timmins too.

I understand the core concept of what outscoring them 8-1 means. I don't understand what that means about what this season might amount to. They are so inconsistent

Maybe for whatever reason they are a bad matchup for the Oilers just like the Flames seemed to be a bad matchup for us as are the Flyers.

Yeah, pretty much, if the hand stays on the stick it should be immaterial if it glances off the guy's glove or his stick.  At times it really does seem that the powers that be in the league have no idea as to how the game is actually played.

And in that game earlier on the road trip agreed 100% that the puck wasn't directed into the net with the guy's glove, BUT if THAT was a hand pass, that other goal absolutely was gloved in.

For sure. No matter what happens, Adams should never be forgiven for not coming close to getting this team the most important ingredient this team has needed all along, a solid #1 goal tender.
