On WGR last hour, right after there was discussion of the game being on TNT, Hammy chimes in and calls it a “radio only” game.  Hello…just because it is not on MSG does not make it a “radio only” game.

How much does this guy get paid? 🤔

He said it in reference to if fans wanted to hear the Sabres broadcast of Dan and Rob.

High compete. Plays hard every shift.

Krebs, Benson, Zucker. Looks like Doan is high compete.

We could use a few more guys like this group, imo.

I would put McLeod in that group too.

Krebs is a get-under-the-skin agitator.  It's less tangible than scoring or physical hits, but he gets opponents off their game.

Does he?

Well he seems to get under your skin...  😉

The only thing Krebs agitates are Sabres fans with his awful play.

too funny ... but if only Krebs had a better shot.  His skating is ok, he is willing to work  hard and get dirty, his passing is ok, but his shot is a pop gun.

Too soon to say. He’s 24. Has a few years before his prime.

Produced 28 points last year on mostly 4th line. His defense is no liability. +/- neutral player.

If he fails to generate more offense still a valuable piece given his compete and intangibles, imo

Watch him interact with teammates on the bench. Kid is enthusiastic and upbeat.

80 game player last two years.

Easy to see why Ruff likes him.

His star would be higher today if scored on that breakaway he had recently.

I was driving and maybe not listening as close as I thought.

It's not.

His prime is gonna be like a season of 15g and 25a and then back to his usual of 10g 15a

Peyton Krebs, the one good thing he does is makes Jack Quinn somewhat respectable.

Quinn's analytics are pretty horrible the last 1-2 years.  He brings everyone else down. However, When Krebs plays with him, his numbers, pretty much across the board...are respectable.  Not good, but respectable. Even the ones related to offense.

One example: High danger chances generated:

Quinn with Krebs:  1 high danger chance for every 6.3 minutes. 'regular' scoring chance generate every 2.1 minutes.

Quinn without Krebs:  1 high danger chance for every 7.9 minutes 'regular' scoring chance generated every 2.5 minutes.

And both of those numbers are with a pretty decent sample size. They have played 280 minutes together, and over 600 apart.
