DarthEbriate Posted 11 hours ago Report Posted 11 hours ago Gah. Power could've kept the puck in the zone before this clear and scrum. But he was so eager to peel away to the neutral zone and not take the man that he gave up possession. You're bigger! Pin him to the boards and keep the puck in. There was Senate blood in the water. .... dissolve the council, permanently. 1 1 Quote
North Buffalo Posted 11 hours ago Report Posted 11 hours ago Wow would really love to see Power drop the gloves. Quote
mjd1001 Posted 11 hours ago Report Posted 11 hours ago I didn't see the whole ice view, but on the SH goal by McLeod, looks like our good friend Dylan Cozens helped out. Ottawa defense collapsed to the front of the net to follow the puck, McLeod was in the near corner by himself...Cozens was the only guy on that side of the ice for Ottawa and he just 'hung out' near the blue line, never bothered to go in deep to McLeod even though McLeod was left alone on that side of the ice right to the side of their goalie. Maybe, MAYBE its the design of the Ottawa PP where they want guys on the board ready for a breakout pass. But my eyes tell me if it would have been anyone else other than Cozens, that player would have gone in a little deeper to cover a totally un-accounted for McLeod. Quote

Crusader1969 Posted 11 hours ago Report Posted 11 hours ago He didn't instigate it but I think that's the first time Power was in the middle of the scrum. Good for him. ! Quote

The first 3 games he was basically a perimter player and nothing came of it. He goes to the net, and surprise! a goal! 1 Quote

Works for me but that's gonna involve gutting the FO and getting a hockey mind in here... not gonna happen in the current situation. Quote
