LGR4GM Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Lindy Ruff said that the last game was "Worst level of compete and skating and moving the feet that Iโve seen.โ so do the Sabres rebound on home ice or are they too fragile to overcome losing Norris?ย Zach Benson is still out, haven't won without him. Kesselring is still out.ย Probably going to get some more Bryson on special teams.ย Maybe Alex Tuch will finally show up or do something.ย 1 Quote

mjd1001 Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago I don't know if I'm watching the games live until they get better anyway, but I forgot this was an early game and I'm in Boston for work the next couple of days. I'll probably periodically check in on my phone though. 1 Quote
WhenWillItEnd66 Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago I hate to say that i have already given up on this tire fire.... but i am so numb. I watch and do not even care anymore. Only good thing is that the Avs (My next fav team) is about to go to 3-0-1. Fck the Sabres 1 1 Quote

Kind of another version of a tank.ย For others they want changes, massive changes. General manager, coach, the more people have to go the better.ย And I think there is a third group of people that is growing. People who just want to feel something with this team.ย If they are truly awful, at least it gives some emotion and something to talk about. 1 Quote

I did just like millions of other people in this country. ย Why does the NHL schedule day games on days that the majority of people are working? I donโt care too much as Iโm not watching this team this season but it feels kinda dumb to schedule your sporting events when a significant portion of the population is still working. ย Then again this is the short sighted league when they will take any cash grab (in person attendance) over actual long term promotion of the league. ย 1 Quote
mjd1001 Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago The frustrating part... Actually that's a bad statement because there are so many frustrating parts...ย But for a lot of us we don't ask for a lot. Just a little relevance early in the season. To not feel like you're playing Catch up one week into the season.ย For the first two months of the season, I don't need them to be battling for first overall in the league. To be leading the division... Just have a positive goal differential and just have more points than games played.ย Two games into the season and those two things look like monumental tasks already. pastajoe Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Iย see the anthem singers for other teams and they are uplifting and get the crowd excited from the start. The Sabres have some lowย energy American Idol wannabes who do nothing to get the crowd into the game. The lowered expectations are set even before the game begins. As that is part of the game day experience and yeah that needs to get better too.ย It's just I never really thought about it because as much as we complain about stuff like that and the arena and the seats... That is way, way down on the list of problems with the team at this moment.ย A two-game winning streak.. outscoring the opponents by five or six goals can turn opinions on the team around pretty quickly, but you're right, even the arena experience they can't get done correctly.ย I heard some people like the overpriced food though. Ctaeth Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago go sabres.ย season isn't over.. we are just two games in.ย big win here vs a good team would do a lot to help turn this around before it really spirals. 2 Quote
Mustache of God Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago I really want to see them start off strong and not sleepwalk through the first half of the game. I can already hear the post game comments of "we didn't have our legs going in the beginning, the guys aren't used to skating this early" 1 Quote
