That said, I think Forton basically drives the draft bus and Adams just regurgitates what he's told about players. Also Adams has access to prospects video in shift by shift mode with AI tracked fancy stats. He's got a lot easier job keeping up with them if he wanted but... he's not good at his job. Yes and now he's going to ask his buddy Staal if the guy offered in a trade is any good and then he'll double check if it's okay with Jarmo (maybe). More clowns in the car. 1 Quote

Pegula has embraced the “virtual” concept. We have a virtual AGM who lives in Pittsburgh, a virtual senior Advisor who lives in Ohio and a virtual special advisor who lives wherever (Carolina?). At this rate, Pegula going to have a virtual coaching staff, virtual players and a virtual arena. 1 Quote

Good for him I suppose 😜 Looking for soothing solutions. https://www.google.com/search?q=preparation+h+suppository&oq=preperation+H+&aqs=chrome.4.69i57j0i10i433i512l3j0i10i512l4j46i10i512i613j0i10i512.30856j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 Quote

I think the AGM is likely a bit of a rarity. Karmanos is probably not the only one, but I would be very comfortable in getting the under on 5 AGM's not living in their NHL or AHL city. That's a totally uneducated guess though But it is surprising that the most senior hockey guy on the payroll in any capacity is not coming in to be in the draft room in person. Quote

Second Line Center Posted Wednesday at 10:42 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 10:42 PM He has used the word “conversations” about 12,456 times. Loser. He’s a total loser. I have zero faith he is up to this job. And in the process he’s making a mockery of this organization. Not that Pegula cares. 1 Quote

Taro T Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago So, are we now officially to the point of Adams tenure when he tries to do the "correct" or maybe better version of the Tim Murray portion of the post-suffering Sabres GM? Because the run of the Darcy Regier "there will be suffering" but this time we'll do it correctly or maybe better portion of the show seems to have ended last off-season with the Savoie trade and the 2nds for 4th liners trades. As the Sabres are no longer necessarily getting younger with every trade, it does seem that portion of the show is finally done. Or maybe we're in the portion of the suffering plan that Regier got punted before having an opportunity to implement? The, we'll trade the incredible talent we've acquired through the past few years to fill the other holes in the roster that come from only drafting skill at the top with little to no grit to go with it. Wonder if Adams gets his Botterill we're going to completely change direction of what type of players we want to build around time too or if he finally gets punted / promoted before then? In any case, can the ride finally end? Can we finally wake up from the nightmare? Is it finally February 3? Quote

Just do what you should have done 2 years ago: make the kids earn their ice time and surround them with people who live to that standard on and off the ice. Thought struck me while watching the Kesselring/Doan videos: those are two kids who have fought through some adversity to get to where they are, something that too few of Kevyn's kids went through. 1 Quote

Every leap day there is an unaccounted for 4 seconds so every 21,600 years you get a super leap year giving us 30 days in February. I’m sure that’ll be happening any year now. 1 Quote

Hated CBS's NFL pregame show back in the day. Jimmy was the only nearly redeeming feature of that. Brent, Irv, and Phyllis were all completley insufferable. AFC all the way for this kid. MNF too. WAY better football and broadcasts. Besides, never owned a VCR until the day before the Greatest Football Game Ever PlayedTM. Quote
