I’m surprised at what they’re getting from Kuntar so far and Novikov is a steady force on the back end. Levi has been stellar, his last couple games notwithstanding. The Amerks as a whole are a grittier bunch. Is Levi ready to move up to the big league, or would it be better for him to stay in place and get more experience? I appreciate you and @inkman's Rochester reports. 1 Quote

When you watch him play do you find him to be a consistent performer or are there games where he is noticeably off? Quote
LGR4GM Posted Saturday at 02:25 PM Report Posted Saturday at 02:25 PM We have 3 healthy goalies in Buffalo already. Leave Levi in Rochester. 2 Quote

I appreciate you and @inkman's Rochester reports. Levi has been solid. Had a bad game last week but he’s still one of the best goalies in the league. He’ll be ready soon, maybe later this season if they unload UPL. 1 1 Quote

He’s very consistent. Once in a blue moon he has a stinker like all goalies have, but he’s a steady force between the pipes. The four gosls against last night look bad at first glance, but he had zero chance on two of them and he made a bunch of key saves to keep them at four. 1 Quote

Bedkowski, stupid pick and I've laid out 2 other players that will have better careers. Luca Romano and Kristian Epperson Kleber, mediocre with the other talent there which includes Ryder Ritchie, Tanner Howe, and Kamil Bednarik. Your opinions. 1 Quote

We believe in him, but at the same time part of your development is, we need a save.” Quote

I have the AHL package and Levi has been shaky of late, even in games he won. Edited 6 hours ago by PromoTheRobot Quote

Him and Vinny seem to get it. Prospal last year basically said that if Kisakov didn't work hard on the ice he wasn't going to get any ice. The Sabres let the kid go this summer. Quote
Ogelthorpe Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago Did the organization finally hire the right guy. I'd rather have Leone than Appert be heir apparent to Ruff Quote

DarthEbriate Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago This summer, Leone will get an offer from an NHL team to be an assistant. Prospal may receive an offer to be an AHL HC. Will either of those offers be from the Sabres? 1 Quote

First, Levi is a really good goalie but the team in front of him is letting him down. Second, Levi needs to find a way to pick his team up with a save and not wilt if the skaters on the ice aren't getting it done. The more I hear about this guy... yeah. 1 Quote

Leone also said last year that he believes winning and development go together. I'm paraphrasing, but essentially he expressed the idea that the best environment for developing players is one where they are winning. When he said it, I was a little taken aback as it seemed (much like this comment on Levi) to not exactly be the company line. Quote
