Imo, let Levi continue to cook in the A unless injury disasters necessitate a call-up.

When you watch him play do you find him to be a consistent performer or are there games where he is noticeably off?

We have 3 healthy goalies in Buffalo already. Leave Levi in Rochester.

Levi has been solid. Had a bad game last week but he’s still one of the best goalies in the league.  He’ll be ready soon, maybe later this season if they unload UPL.

He’s very consistent. Once in a blue moon he has a stinker like all goalies have, but he’s a steady force between the pipes. The four gosls against last night look bad at first glance, but he had zero chance on two of them and he made a bunch of key saves to keep them at four.

Wow. Is that a quote? Sounds like a certain goalie is high on his own supply.

I have the AHL package and Levi has been shaky of late, even in games he won.

Him and Vinny seem to get it. Prospal last year basically said that if Kisakov didn't work hard on the ice he wasn't going to get any ice. The Sabres let the kid go this summer.

This summer, Leone will get an offer from an NHL team to be an assistant. Prospal may receive an offer to be an AHL HC.

Will either of those offers be from the Sabres?

Holy hell I love this quote. He's hitting the team in two ways. First, Levi is a really good goalie but the team in front of him is letting him down. Second, Levi needs to find a way to pick his team up with a save and not wilt if the skaters on the ice aren't getting it done.

The more I hear about this guy... yeah.

Leone also said last year that he believes winning and development go together.  I'm paraphrasing, but essentially he expressed the idea that the best environment for developing players is one where they are winning.  When he said it, I was a little taken aback as it seemed (much like this comment on Levi) to not exactly be the company line.
