Spoonman
 Good Game Day Sabre Spacers, looking to extend the 'winning streak' to 2 games tonight....      @           16-19-4                        19-14-4                          Last 10        4-5-1 (W1)                     7-2-1 (W1)      36 pts. / 39 gms.              42 pts. / 37 gms. Sabres currently sit 8th for WC2 spot, with the Pens in 4th. While the Sabres sit 8 pts. out of both WCs, they need to pass 6 teams (5 of 7 in front of Sabres have games in hand). Need consistent effort, get a straight out win tonight, and pull ahead of MTL (with a second home loss to the NYR). #MUST WIN #LETS GO BUFFALO #PENGUIN DROP TONIGHT! https://youtu.be/0gKUKOGqpHQ?si=TulYdMPMWAae6mQU  Edited January 6 by Spoonman 2 3 2

So you take responsibility for the 'watching the losses', eh? 😜

Scottysabres
Another opportunity to break the cycle. 2 wins in a row should spark a championship style parade down main street from Williamsville to Lafeyete Square. The confetti is on standby, hundreds of thousands if not over a million Sabres fanatics (blow up doll replacements acceptable for fan base head count at this point) stand ready to move on to the main parade route waving flags of blue & gold or black, red, silver and white. The moment of triumph is awaited with baited breathe by many. Can the team do it? Pull off the near impossible? 2 wins in a row? We shall see..... Go Sabres!!! 1

PASabreFan
This is the worst time for a game in Pittsburgh, one of the franchise's city of horrors. Two Rust Belt small market franchises. The arena, the fans, the generational players, the banners. That should be us. Hey, Terry tried.

I really believe that snow game back in '08 had a big impact on this franchise. Or maybe it was just getting beaten all those other times by the Pens. Water under bridge now. Beat the Penguins!

Dreams Burn Down
The Penguins, though not nearly what they once were, are still more than capable of giving the Sabres a reality check. We will not be able to roam so freely down low or in the blue paint as we were allowed to by the Habs. I'd like to see more of the new defensive pairings, though, and continued improvement on the PP. Those two PP goals the other night gave me a nice jolt in an otherwise moribund season.

They were lucky to be terrible when Crosby was available in the draft. Same for Malkin a year earlier.
