I wouldn't be in a hurry to give up on anyone on this team. I agree with 99% of the bold. The other 1% is derived from the fact that I’ve completely given up on Mitts and VO. The trade stuff came about because of the TNT's line great start to the season and inspired play and maybe a little from Kreb's improvement since Granato moved him to play with the big boys. In other words, it was the team not the City. Everything else you said I agree with. I also am of the opinion that ROR wasn't too pleased with Eichel being the Captain over him and possibly that he didn't think Eichel was true Captain material. The Bills dumped players that they didn't think either fit the team or weren't totally committed to their schemes and program before they made their turnaround. That said didn't we have a thread about how the Sabres actually made moves that weren't being counted like Detroit and Ottawas offseason moves?
