It makes me laugh 😂 I'm interested in the Sabres being a team worth rooting for. Unfortunately this team isn't worth *****. This team is Tampa's b****. If you enjoy that, good for you because there's much more to come.

Come on Sabres, must win game to get some fans back on the rails. This is true but isn't the whole story - if this happened and Montreal got one point out of their 2 games in hand, we'd be out. Because right now we're 5 points behind the wild card spot already
dudacek 3,077 Report post Posted November 29 The recent Sabres aren’t losing because of lack of effort, or even particularly bad 5-on-5 play. It’s because their special teams have been absolutely terrible. They have the talent to change that, at least on the PP.

Because right now we're 5 points behind the wild card spot already Wow, 5 points out already but all it takes is a win streak. It’s early in the season which means they need to stay in it, avoid losing streaks, have a few winning streaks. I just wish JBot would do something to bolster the lineup. Does this team have any chemistry? Year 3, looking at standings I see some improvement but watching the product on ice really I do not. The trajectory has been downward lately and something must be done to change the direction. Edited November 29 by Pimlach

They'll need to return to the 12 point in 10 game 98 point pace that many cite, and then go on an additional run of something like 4-0-1 in a 5 game span. That'd get them to 98. Doable. Out of the playoffs point total = the lesser of points back of third in division/points back of final wild card team.
Doohickie 1,890 Report post Posted November 29 2 hours ago, Pimlach said: I’m in Dallas at my sisters house and we have many family members present for a special Thanksgiving this year. We went to the Bills game yesterday. It was wonderful to see the Bills win. They were well prepared and professional. The Bills have a good blend of emerging talent and veterans. They play and act like a team, which makes them fun and great representatives for the city of Buffalo. Compliments to Beane and Coach McDermott. They are on the rise. Today at 3:00 CST is our Thanksgiving Dinner. I will not interrupt this Holiday with the Sabres. I will do periodic checks on NHL.TV using my iPad but it’s time to focus on family and more important matters. I was saddened to see the BN put out that article on the 5 game losing streak to Toronto, almost foreshadowing more gloom and doom fir this downtrodden team. This team has so many losing streaks with other teams, ten years of bad management will do that. So, Let’s Go Sabres No time like now to pull yourselves up and win for your fans. Did you get out to Buffalo Bros for the welcome party Wed night?

SABRES 0311 615 Report post Posted November 29 Nylander has rockets in his skates. Scandella with a half hearted attempt to chip the puck. Wrong time in the game to do that buddy. Maybe you’ll fix that on your near future new team.
