Second period managed to suck all the life out of the building. Brutal. Sabres better score the next one or it feels like they’re gonna be on the wrong side of a comeback.

I'm proud of our team, they were tested and they didn't break.

They were not going to be pushed around.

I liked the fact that they brought the pain, defended themselves and stayed out of the box.

It should be no surprise Philly would try and battle back. It should also be no surprise the Sabres would have a weak period. They've been consistently inconsistent like that this season. The end of third will be the end of this game's story.

They did crack.  When you let up on the gas pedal you risk getting seriously damaged.

I don't know the stats but the Flyers have been hanging their hats on the fact that they've been a 3rd period team this year. Who knows but we need to be sharp.?
