And yet they give one team a 2 man advantage (Trocheck gets nothing for coming back at McCabe with all of those chops, after a clean hit??) with which they put out that goon with the most fights in the league? Yeah, that won't go bad the second a whistle goes. Two Sabres double-teamed, not enough refs to get in between, and Petrovic gets to tee off on McCabe's head while he's being held by the lunkhead ref. They really controlled that one well. Why didn't ROR skate directly to Eichel and celebrate? He drifted over and turned the other way. Eichel's face is stone. Compare to the standard NHL goal celebration. Smoke meet fire. Perhaps a little bit of cognitive bias happening here? O'Reilly is one of the few players on this pathetic roster that is actually producing...and fairly consistently at that. He's a solid #2 center whose contract is very reasonable beginning in 2019-20. We better be getting one hell of a return package on an O'Reilly trade. Assuming there is actual conflict between Jack and Ryan, then someone needs to sit these two down and get them to resolve their grievances like adult males. Maybe this should be Housley's job? One more save as the team lost its way in the latter half of the first and we win this. One more save as we completely dominated the third and maybe we force OT late. Surprised at the amount of negativity in the thread. Buffalo was clearly the better team. We were faster and - for the first time in a long time - we were making the other team our .
