They got their legs back quickly. I think this season is more a story of being unable to get over the mental hump in crucial situations than a story of consistently getting outplayed. In fact, I think on balance we are improved at the hockey that goes on between whistles, when the power play is ignored, over last year. Great plays by Sam and OK on that goal. Sam's lightning one-touch pass and Kyle putting it the only possible spot it could squeak through in that amount of time from that angle. Eich is a monster and opposing fans must be on edge every time he's on the ice. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
