No way was that play onside. You coul see white under his skate.

I agree, but the play being an inch offside had no impact on the outcome. Point I'm trying to make is get rid of the challenge. No reason to say a goal shouldn't count because it was offside 10 seconds prior. If a player is definitively offside the red would've caught it.

We did the research first hand. It suuuuure looked like it.

Yeah, pretty sure that's gonna leave a mark.

But I'd expect it was soft tissue damage, quite likely in both the knee & ankle. The way the foot was twisted around backwards, if there was a spiral fracture in fibula there'd likely also be one in the tibia. & he wouldn't have left the ice under his own piwer w/out the leg being immobilized.

The Caps are really lacking in killer instinct. I don't get what they're waiting for.

Same , different year. They are my 2nd team and I would really love to see Ovie hoist the cup, but come playoff time they just play like garbage. They should sweep Toronto without any problems. They could still sweep, but not in dominating fashion, that's for sure.

I was shocked to see him helped off the ice without a stretcher. But with the shin pads, tape and tight solid skates, his lower leg is basically already immobilized. Once that stuff comes off, he is gonna be in a world of hurt. That thing will blow up like a balloon.

Watching the hawks and preds, thinking how far away the Sabres are from playing like this. The speed, the hitting, the intensity. It may be decades. I can't even remember the last time Buffalo was this hard nosed. Both teams are flying.
