Sam got it to where he knew Jack was. Beautiful camera angle on Franson's shot - You know Cody saw that huge lane and gaping hole. Perfect shot, because it either goes in or Saros has to kick it right to Jack. I've said this all season, our lack of points from non-Risto defensemen has little to do with their talent and a lot to do with the offensive zone strategies. We aren't yet creating space for them, but opposition breakdowns are now giving our point men space to make decisions that aren't back foot hail marys. At least moreso recently than earlier in the year. Still being dominated at even strength by my eye. Not sustainable, but they could still pluck this one out. I think they're hungry. Nah, we're on the annual stretch of 20 games where Bogo looks really good. Bogo has 4 stages he goes through yearly: 1) The 20 game injury stage 2) The 20 game return from injury where he looks like absolute garbage stage 3) The 20 games where he looks legitimately good stage 4) The 20 games where he looks like JAG stage The order of these stages may shuffle around, but they're always there.
