ubkev
We never had it, so it's hard for me to say that we gave it to them. But I still feel that way.

K-9
Oh well. Something to build on for sure. Young team, well coached and now, tournament tough. They had their opportunities and when they watch the tape of this game, there'll be a lot of woulda, coulda moments. Congrats on a fine season for UB. TrueBlueGED
Except for some early-game jitters, they were right in there. Guard play is so important in the tourney...and we had a freshman and sophomore back court. It showed. Watch out next year.

Hoss
Congrats to UB. You were the more relevant WNY college basketball program for a season. Still not the best, but you had a great run. Good effort from the MAC champs. As bad as the MAC is and with so many returning key players they should have no issue returning to the dance next season. This is trolling, right? Not the best team in the area? The MAC terrible? Yea, has to be trolling.

Just another Bona grad trying to hang on to what was a basketball legacy back in the 70's. He will want to remember this year fondly remembering his fabled Reilly Center thwarting a young upstart UB team and forgetting that the Bulls played without two if its top 6 players and with a freshman guard playing his second or third road game. I will always fondly remember the days of Bob Lanier and Glenn Price and their battles with Calvin Murphy but now its UB's time. But hey, there is always the NIT and CBI ..... We won the A-10 championship three years ago... 7-2 all-time vs UB including a smooth victory this year. Bonas was the better team this year. They just played in a real conference. The A-10 got 3 teams in on a weak year... The MAC is a one-team league in the NCAA tournament. It is a weak conference. The A-10 consistently performs come tournament time. It is three times the conference the MAC is. Edited March 21, 2015 by Tank

See, now this is going to be fun.
