Dives in front of shots, takes an absolute beating, team first all the way. It is pretty clear at this point that Murray wants to fill the team with character guys and let the young skill guys develop around them. Great move. He'll be 30 this summer and is 6'1", 200 lbs, under contract for 4 more years at $3.9MM per year, has played over 20 min per game for the Habs for SIX years in a row and doesn't score, fight or take penalties. So a stay-home veteran defenseman with a ton of experience -- which is definitely something this D group needs -- at a pretty low price.
