Bills did three straight drop back three or four stpes to take a couple of seconds off and then take a knee, since they couldn't really run out the clock. The defender decided to take out EJ hard on the the third one, which took care of the 5 seconds that they couldn't run off. The NFL is concentrating on player safety, if you are going to flag hits on what are deemed "defenseless receivers" , then you have flag hits on a QB that is giving themselves up. Except when Suggs makes contact EJ isn't all the way down. What if he was faking a knee only to get up and run for a first? It was a silly ploy by the Bills.
