I really don't want to go back to the store. If at all possible. My wife just lost her mind and put the potatoes on the back steps. Critters will probably get to them sooner than later. Any way for me to de-ant the taters or am I out 4 bucks? Can I wash em all off and leave them out to dry or will they rot? What kind of ants? Either way I would say just wash them off, they grow in the dirt anyway. But if they’re fire ants take extra precautions.
Weave 3,504
Wonder if there are some rotten taters in the bag that the ants are after. I'd assume the ants are eating the potatoes and ditch them.

PASabreFan 4,430
I made the oddest mac and cheese. I only had ziti pasta and angel hair spaghetti and had to use soy milk for the cheese sauce. Surprisingly, the soy milk behaved pretty much like cow's milk when it was heated up in the roux. Slightly different flavor profile, but just fine nonetheless.

Thwomp! 124
Wings! Taking a special lady to Letchworth for her first time after the world hopefully returns to normal. Also want to get some good wings. She hasn't had those either. Any excellent places anyone would recommend in that area? Anywhere south to southeast of Buffalo preferred. East Aurora (Bar Bill) and Orchard Park (Duff's) aren't too out of the way, but wanted to see if there are any other good options. Thanks! Edited April 14, 2020 by Thwomp! Zamboni 1,574
This was a great breakfast idea Sunday. Make the bacon. Pour pancake batter like the photo shows. Drop Bacon in the middle. Pour more batter over the top to coat the bacon. Flip it over to cook the other side of the pancake. When done, you can either pick them up and dip them in a small bowl of maple syrup, or use a fork and knife and cut them into portions and dip those into maple syrup. https://www.ladybehindthecurtain.com/buffet-pancake-dippers/ Edited April 14, 2020 by Zamboni
