These are the kind of guys you need to find once or twice a year. I will try to catch a game or two of this guy on TV. The OHL has split into East and West so his team will not play in North Bay this season.

I’ve watched Nelson about half a dozen times here in North Bay. He is a great skater and can go end to end but plays the team game. He is getting better in the OHL every game after sitting out a year. He earned an A at camp despite having never played an OHL game. I compare him to long time Predator Ryan Ellis in stature and playing style. As this season goes on I should have tons of views on this kid and some intel as well, my son knows people on the team.

I like 19, makes me think of Sakic and Yzerman.

That is a massive mistake and adds to the pain felt by Kyle Beach. He was dumped in the back alley while Aldrich gets a day with the Cup, paraded around and a letter of recommendation.

Don’t worry, they have Ryan Reaves to protect him, ooopsies. Maybe Lehner will lose his sh.. on someone.

That’s ok, let him get acclimated to the organization and not feel the added pressure immediately.

Vegas is struggling to start the season and they have some injury issues. Their division is weak but they could miss the playoffs. Lehner is a wild card in net and their past success has been facilitated by Fleury. There is a chance of the pick being 11-16.

Krebs and Cozens know each other well from the WHL and Team Canada teams. Krebs would have gone higher in his draft year if he wasn’t injured. He is no Eichel but projects as a solid forward.

Sabres have some injuries and haven’t looked as good on this road trip. However, the Sharks are missing a bunch of guys due to COVID and the Sabres usually do well against them. I think they turn this around as they head north from SoCal. 4-2 Sabres, Dahlin with a pair of assists. Cozens finds the back of the net.

I see Krebs as a Mike Richards comparable. Hard working two way centre that provides leadership. Mike Richards was valuable to his teams before his off ice issues.

Oh they will make money. That team could put a turd on their third and their legion of fans would buy them.

Quinn was a role player at the World Juniors and I thought he did well defensively. Defense can be taught if he does need extra work, it is the offensive instincts and creativity that got him selected in the first round. I want him to be a two way threat and have stated before he could be a Mark Stone type of NHLer.

Vegas has lost 4 in a row, it’s early but does their owner want to shake things up? They play the Avs next and may not match up well. Its not like Jack would be ready to play though.

Girgs won the draw that led to Hagg’s insurance goal. I thought I heard on the broadcast that he won 11 of 13 face offs.
