Easy to say now but I wasn’t interested in Clarke last year. His only action was at the U18 and he didn’t stand out. I didn’t like that he always was beaver tailing his stick, demanding the puck. I found it annoying because they were all good players, why should he have the puck?

Interesting numbers. He was involved in 33.3% of Kingston’s goals in 2019-20. He also led them in scoring. He was 15. You would think he should be dominating the OHL this year.

I am surprised by Wright’s numbers. I have watched one of his games and he didn’t stand out. If he continues this play someone else could go #1.

Not saying Levi’s ready but Spencer Knight was his opponent in that WJHC and is now in the NHL. Knight’s pedigree was higher and he is fast tracking for a goalie. Carter Hart came up young as well but has had a lot of bumps on his road. I think Levi turns pro at the end of this year. He will need to be challenged at the next level in order to keep developing. The goalie position is so much more about mental balance, focus and confidence. This guy’s chart has been on a steep climb and I see him building a great resume to keep advancing.
