Rossi, Addison and a first would do it for me. Rossi would compete with Cozens and Mitts and the Sabres would have a solid C core in a year or two. Rossi and Quinn know each other well and could be a good pairing. Addison is a RHD which is a need now that Montour and Risto are gone. Extra pick(s) either way could balance this out. I would love to add Foligno as well but he is a big part of their club.

Another advantage of drafting this many Russians is that when they come over they can do so as a group. The culture shock can be tough on one guy but a few can support each other.

He was a 7th rounder because he played tier 2 Junior A. If he had played in the CHL he would have been much earlier. It is hard to project young goalies, I think Levi makes it as at least a backup.

Sam probably refused to extend so this ends up being a one year “rental”. Risto return is more so it is too bad for us. I think Levi will be an NHL goalie but it is hard to project quality this early.

88,95,97 I hope they take goalie Ben Gaudreau from the Sarnia Sting with one of these. He was Canada’s U18 goalie after not having played all year. Had a great tournament. North Bay kid, his sister goes to High School with my son.

I would love him to be Pronger 2.0 but he does not look the type. Adding some grit to his game would be good.
