The summers are so much hotter than we used to get. I remember 80 degrees was a heat wave and we got snow often starting in October, the ski slopes opened by Thanksgiving. Now it's routinely upper 80s for days on end. Don't get me wrong, it's great. But I'm built for the fall and winter months and now that I learned to ski, this global warming (or heat cycle, whatever you believe) is annoying. 😂

The new home has a terrible dog smell, I have carpet installers coming next week some carpet, some vinyl plank. By ripping out the old stuff and removing the molding, it will save about 2k overall. So I'm doing it and the carpet is NASTY, the people before me never once cleaned up after their dogs. The dryer is full of hair, hair on the walls I'm painting, hair all over/stuck in the trim. I just don't know how someone would purchase such a nice home and then let it just get destroyed. I'm hoping the subfloor is safe once I rip the pad up or else I'll need to clean it with enzymes and paint with kilz, etc.

Have you looked into the inspire device, I know some people that have had success. I'm not overly familiar with the particulars but it's a small device implanted same day and works without need for the horrendous cpap

We literally tore down a statue of a general that was crucial in the victory against the redcoats... Because he was a slave owner. So we don't exist as the USA if this man wasn't in his position. This can be dissected in many ways, but we have enough current issues that eating time and resources to chase ghosts seems silly.

The fact that we are erasing history in all of these places just shows how out of touch we really are. There's no one alive that was a slave (basically no one) the Irish don't complain about slavery, neither do the hundreds of other cultures that were enslaved that shape the world we live in Today. It would be different if these things were going on. It's a very United States thing, I don't see paintings of all the monarchs being destroyed in Europe, and some of those dudes were terrible. But here we are, taking down statutes at a cost of over 60k because someone got butthurt about the past that is clearly in the past.

I care about this about as little as I care about the anthem being sung before a game. It starts to feel watered down when these things keep getting added on to by teams across the league. Sure, keep hockey fights cancer, or maybe one veteran night, but it's a game; were here for entertainment and a possible escape from life and it's problems.
