  1. Crazy show. The stage show was fantastic. The set list was awesome. We got in line about 90 minutes before doors opened. We had feure zone tickets, basically front and center pit. Got thoroughly drenched by a rain storm while waiting for the doors to open. We got our spot about 4 people deep from the front rail, dead center. The crowd filled in around us, and it was really tight quarters by the time the opening act started. The US Bank roof was closed, which turned out to be for the best, but it did limit the pyrotechnics somewhat. Still, they call it the feure zone for a reason. The pyro effects were HOT. Halfway through the show I had a tornado warning pop up on my phone, complete with take shelter immediately warnings. The show didn’t stop, but you could see the storm raging outside. Didnt expect so much clowning from Till. He was really hamming it up. It was pretty damned funny. First time in decades I was at a show that had women flashing their tits. Didn’t expect that. It was a hell of a show. Kind of surreal given all the pyro, craziness, and a tornado raging somewhere outside.
  2. Headed to US Bank stadium shortly for Rammstein. We’ve been in Minny since Thursday evening. Just left a British pub. Crazy energy in there with Arsenal on all the TVs. Hopefully the show this evening delivers. So far the trip has been awesome. Minneapolis is an awesome hang out.
  3. If that news was out there on draft day and Buffalo chose him anyway……. How this plays out may determine my fanhood for both the Sabres and the Bills.
  4. That’s pretty damned impressive.
  5. Yup. Someone is getting a series of shots in her abdomen.
  6. When viewed from north of here, Buffalo apparently looks like a suburb of Toronto.
  7. He’s a tweener. The only way he doesn’t play more AHL games than NHL games is if we run into injury issues.
  8. Are Sheehan and Larsson represented by the same agency? That would explain it.
  9. Hence the gif I posted. There is optimism, then there is five 30 goal scorers optimism.
  10. What is the point of this? Honest question.
  11. Fixed you BOILING BAD TAKE. 😁
  12. I’m assuming you missed the Bandits first decade. Noone that witnessed the Bandits first 10 years has this take.
  13. I can’t get a good read on where Dylan’s projections are leading him. 2 way center is his skill set, but he might prove more valuable along the wall? I don’t know. And I don’t know if he is developing into a 2C or a more defensive minded 3C. I do think the kid has a long NHL career in front of him, just not sure what role. Tough read for me so I didn’t make a poll choice.
  14. I think thats the point. His path to the NHL is all but closed for all practical purposes.
  15. I think that is going to depend on his center more than anything else. He could conceivably end up with Mitts as his pivot and be the RW on an offensively minded line.
  16. Now this guy, I have faith. He’ll be a lock down guy this year.
  17. I’m not discounting the 2nd half, I’m using it as a baseline. Have we improved from there? On D I think Looby brings certain improvement, although you have to consider Power may not be the adrenaline filled Power we saw in the last handful of games (remember Mitts at a PPG pace or something like that?). At forward it is much more of a leap of faith to call it improved over the end of last season. We expect Quinn and JJP to bring more skill, but being rooks at the level, they could struggle mightily. Goalie is a crap shoot. If the skill of the rooks translates better than the previous veteran NHL understanding then this team makes a 15 pt step over their end of season pace. But it IS a leap of faith to expect that is how it plays out.
  18. Point 1, you can’t compare opening night rosters until we’ve seen THIS opening night roster. And I think a better faith discussion would be around end of last season vs. start of this season. Point 2, the only certain improvements are Looby, Mule and Tuch. The rest are “ show me”. And Mule and Tuch are not newcomers so we know what the roster is like with them. I see small improvement for certain, anything more than that requires faith.
  19. Your error is assuming that those of us not on a Kool Aid fix don’t understand KAs philosophy. I understand it. I’ve seen its application work and not work. Like all investments, past performance does not indicate future results.
  20. I like my answer better.
  21. Its short for Braadko Lambertinnen.
  22. He’s going to struggle more than he dazzles. I’m expecting moments, even periods where we’ll gush, but more often than not he is going to be made to look bad. I think he’ll see bottom line even strength minutes most games and time on PP2. Around 30pts seems about right to me.
