I have Verizon wireless. What do I need to do to get access to Sabres games in the home market?

Chess players have trainers?
-
Only in the most negative of context.

They have some pretty significant injuries to start the season. A decline in points for Boston seems about given. The question for me is, when do these key players get back on the ice? I think they are still a playoff team, but by how much?

In other words, both uses were correct and in proper context. Congrats, you argued over nothing.

How many more than Jack? -
Mediocre is such a subjective term. Or is it, subjective is such a mediocre term?

Its a pass heavy league and our WRs and DBs have taken the brunt of our injuries. Yeesh.

I hate this discussion but, the point you made regarding Mucks exposing Hasek to an expansion draft and Hasek not being drafted sorta makes Sauve’s point about Hasek not being any sort of valued commodity overall. Although in Hasek’s case it isnt because he was yet to bloom, it was because noone recognized it, his own team and coaches included.

I don’t like it. When the opposition has the last change they will take advantage of this. Granted, I’m not sure spreading the youth around more creates a more balanced lineup. I guess there will be some cringe-y moments from this line in our away games. Whatever, boomer.

Its right there in the twitter link this conversation is discussing.

Hockey Viz projected 86pts. And still had us finishing near where we finished last season.

Yeah, the unbiased evaluations are pretty consistent that our team has enough unknowns that historically have been expected to perform at replacement level. Hopefully a few of our unknowns show better than historical expectations and we surprise a few people. I’m not betting on it however.

The 1.5mi tri-oval was overdone anyway. Too many tracks that were essentially the same configuration. Anything different from that would probably get my approval. Traditionalists unhappy with the new changes? LOL that track was completely reconfigured 30 yrs ago. They can’t be that much of a traditionalist if they want the previous tri-oval returned. Up until about 1995 that track was a 1.5mi oval with huge, banked turns. There was as much corner as there was straight away. It was an awesome, unique track that they ruined when they made it a tri-oval.

I haven’t followed NASCAR in probably 15 years. What did they do to Atlanta? I still remember when they changed it from a true oval to a tri-oval and hated it. I do follow F1 somewhat and def prefer it to NASCAR these days. I think the primary difference is that in F1 the teams can not so readily outsmart the league officials. NASCAR historically has had some dumb XXXXS policing the rules and were readily outsmarted by the teams.

Well, that was interesting….

100% right to not shoot until you’re sure. Good luck. Those ***** are wicked smart. You’ve already warned him that you’re after him. Cagey isn’t strong enough a word to describe them.
