3-4 months ago all the chatter was how the Sabres are set up to be like the Bills and it’s such a great thing. Now the Bills decision makers are idiots and we are destined to mediocrity.

I think they needed to spread the vets around a bit. Going back to that “the nhl is an 85% league” thread, the rooks and 2nd years guys were doing well while the league was at 85%, but I’m fairly certain our kids were at 100%. Seems leading up to the trade deadline, the league is ratcheting up over 85%, the kids may be a little low of fuel, and our kids aren’t having the success they had earlier.

It went without saying.

After 4 concussions, the last about 2 yrs ago, my son has light and sound sensitivities. This may be a game he can actually enjoy.

It’s certainly not the way I would handle it, but I don’t necessarily consider it helicopter parenting either. I think that is more a symptom of a spoiled child, and they’ve been around for generations.

I don’t think anyone questions whether he deserves it. Clearly he trolling for conflict. But in the words of Clint Eastwood, deserves got nothing to do with it.

Probably more of this than most of us care to admit.

Let’s bring it back down to earth a bit. The snark was about all the generational and best since Potvin comments. He’s developed into an outstanding defenseman. A ways to go before Potvin or generational talk though.

We are a product of our environment. You want to know why helicopter parenting happens, look at the generation that raised the helicopter parents and how they prepared them for the job.

Robin Lehner is not in control his thoughts and emotions therfore he’s prone to bad decision making. And ripe for a con artist to take advantage of. I don’t understand how some can point and laugh when this guy is obviously suffering from some serious ***** that he doesn’t seem to be able gain control over, or even manage or mitigate effectively.

My theory re Bogosian is, he wasn’t injured all that time. He used it as an excuse to not play in garbage time. He always seemed to get hurt right about when the season was lost.

Awhile back the idea of having a young mans name on my back just felt weird. Since then the only jerseys I will consider are historical ones (players from my youth) or obscure ones.
