  1. Ha, I always considered Boston to be the belly of the beast.
  2. Michael Scott taught me all i need to know about HR.
  3. And if we're lucky, neither leaves. Sorry bio, but I think you can sacrifice employment if it means the world has two less HR reps. The needs of the many...
  4. Physics, I've seen far too many of the "I'm 55 years old and weight 350 pounds, this is the year I get drafted" type of guys. I'm not sure where they fall in the types of leagues you outlined. That's really the only way to describe many of the people I played against in Boston. They seem to actually think they still have a shot. I know Boston has their reputation for scumbaggery, but I have a hard time believing it's just them.
  5. It's pretty easy to track when half are Dallas. We haven't had any meaningful run ins with them in a while now, so I had forgotten why I used to hate their teams so much.
  6. Steel cage death match between the two employers, it's the only reasonable solution
  7. Are there refs for these games? It sounds like they really blew it for a couple of reasons: 1. It almost sounds like the type of game they should have stopped 2. There definitely shouldn't be a handshake line if it was as ugly the picture you painted (insert comment here about you never painting ugly pictures) And I hear you about this type of game driving you away. We had back to back games 4 years ago where opponents taking things far too seriously led to a pair of knee surgeries, one of which was me. I came back after that, but I had very little desire and walked away after one more season. Those completely ruin things.
  8. Absolutely. Unfortunately, there's no way he lasts that long. Someone as media aware as he is is not going to expose himself to that kind of thrashing.
  9. I wish we had him. That would be one of the most stacked college rosters imaginable.
  10. My brother and I were exchanging Tommy Boy quotes the whole time. It wasn't bad.
  11. I've played the whole series and have always been a huge fan of Batman, so that game is a must. I did everything possible in the story mode of all of those games. I'm content doing that much, I don't need to do some of the challenge modes. Oh, and I'm currently playing through Arkham Origins again when I have free time.
  12. I knew someone would mention him. You even gave my already prepared answer for me. Nice work. I forget the exact time line with Tallon/Bowman, but Hossa was signed by Bowman, right?
  13. I had to sit through a church class this past weekend about being a godparent (don't ask). The guy teaching it looked just like Chris Farley. He even had a striped polo shirt that looked like it was straight out of Tommy Boy.
  14. I am oddly tempted too. I think ultimately I will hold out and save the money for the eventual PS4 purchase for Arkham Knight, but I'll go back and forth on it a lot.
  15. Do people still not realize that he is nothing but a publicity ? The only reason he is "officially" running is because he knew he had to take it a step further this time or else people wouldn't talk about him.
  16. For me, that was like saying "LB - Bryan Cox: Buffalo Bills"
  17. Well, they've shown how to navigate when you inherit a team with three hall of fame level players anyway. I guess the real question should be how you get to that point in the first place. I don't think there's any specific template for success in the cap era given that the rules seem to be re-written every five years or so after the each round of CBA changes.
  18. I know the second I see the moon tonight I will be posting in this thread. :D
  19. Every single player on the Sabres roster
  20. Boston College ;)
  21. So they're finally doing a Final Fantasy VII remake. I don't know what to think about this one.
  22. This truly is awesome! :D ;)
  23. I was expecting two guys named Gary Daly and Bill Bettman.
  24. Jesus himself could be up there with the Cup full of puppies and the players would still be thinking the same exact thing. "Ladies and gentlemen, your 2015 Stanley Cup Champions, the Chicago Blackhawks!" That is the exact quote that the presenter needs to say and then get the hell out of there.
  25. I'm with you on this one. Being as weird as goalies are, I'm sure they'd notice any possible change like that. Hell, they'd probably notice if the national anthem was 0.5 seconds longer than the night before.
