I had something like that the other day when I was driving down a fairly rural, very narrow road outside of my neighborhood. This idiot kid was walking in the middle of the street not paying attention. I was right behind him and give him a light double tap of the horn and he didn't react at all. Turns out he was wearing headphones. Even if he's blasting those things, I have no idea how he couldn't hear a horn behind him.

I'm currently in the process of getting fitted for a new contact lense. I have a condition that forces me to wear hard lenses so there's a bit of a process there. Each time, I go in for an appointment and then 2 weeks or so later the lense is delivered, hoping it fits well. That's not working out so well right now. I then have to wait another week for an appointment where they tweak the lense slightly, followed by another 2 week wait for delivery. Wash rinse and repeat over and over. I'm on my third iteration now and I'm not quite sure they know what they're doing.

Has there been much discussion about Watkins at camp so far? I'm very curious to see what he can do this year, both with being healthy and also having a coach who actually wants to use him.

There has to be a clever use of a synonym or antonym that works for robviously. I just can't think of one.

The stuff in the Kane thread about creating a fake user name so that you can leak out private details got me thinking this could make an interesting mindless thread. What are some potential blatantly obvious aliases posters could use? The original idea for me was "not shrader". Now I want to hear some options for any posters out there. A few random ideas: somebody l1ghtsabre inkwoman

You can go with "not shrader 2". It can be a little play on words that brings on some fun debate. Should the name have a "2" or a "too"?

Is it possible to give someone the benefit of doubt when you don't even know what you're giving it for? This whole thing feels like dividing by zero.

I saw a story that there is a slight increase in cases of leprosy this year due to armadillos. So if that one really was vengeful, it would have also made the guy a leper. It's not much, but every little bit helps.

And if a kicker could hit at least one FG, we're right back out. It's going to take more than just a couple bounces going our way for this team to become a contender. They've certainly assembled the talent at almost every other position, but they're going to need solid QB play to take it to the next level.

And that still left us on the outside looking in. We're probably going to need more than that from the position if we want to get anywhere.

You missed the first sentence in my post though. Those teams in those slots seem to be picking those QBs themselves lately, other than RG3. Let's face it, these bottom teams are there for a reason and usually a big part of that is their lack of a QB. So basically, what I'm saying is that any QB that you may actually be able to move up to get is a crap shoot guy. How much are you willing to give up in order to get yourself a coin toss (or even worse chances than that)?

And not too many teams seem to be moving out of those QB slots lately. We're pretty much at the point where anyone who goes outside of the top 5 or so picks already falls into that Manuel-like crap shoot status.

You're bound to get that with Armia though given that he was one of the oldest guys out there. He's got a lot more pro hockey under his belt than most of those guys so he damn well better look good. I'd equate it to the random undrafted 19 or 20 year old kid leading his junior team in scoring.
