If you're trying to say you're not assigning blame, it's probably best not to throw a comparison out there were you are assigning blame. These are the kind of inconsistencies that lead people to jump all over you.

I know you deleted your post asking the question, but I'll give this a shot anyway. If we're not trying to attach some sort of blame to a victim, what exactly are are we giving them a pass for?

They're giving away Nobels for crack use now? Why am I not surprised?

It doesn't seem right to lump in the educated speculation (for a lack of better terms) that law enforcement would do with the speculation that goes on here. They are incredibly different things. Some here will have more experience than others, but as a whole, what is done here is nothing more than a dart board. I'm not trying to shoot down what goes on here, but one definitely serves a better purpose than the other.

One of the killers on that show was a guy name Schrader from the Buffalo area. They scarred me for life.

I'd love to know why it took so long. This is easily one of the craziest situations we've seen yet it seems to have gone completely silent for a while now.

Why do we always take the bait?

I went to their brewery in Framinham, MA two years ago. I'm surprised to hear it mentioned here as it seemed like they were getting things started at that point. That visit was a part of a day long bachelor party run from brewery to brewery (groom home brews), so it was a bit tough to remember each place, but they definitely did stick out though. I think that was the place where I really started to appreciate smoked beers. They had a seasonal one at that point that actually smelled like a christmas ham. It was a huge hit with me.

I wouldn't go that far. This one's not going anywhere for a while. Regardless of what else happens around the world, until something more breaks on this story, people are going to be posting about it.

The timing is awfully convenient for both.

I started getting an odd whistling sound on one of my burners last night (the one that the electric start is connected to) and the grill wouldn't heat up very much. So I know that this is either a leak or a problem with the tank itself. The valve on the tank has been trouble, so I'm really hoping it's just the tank. The handle can come loose when turning and hasn't felt right since day 1. Is it a reasonable thought that the problem could be with the tank itself, maybe that it's not releasing enough propane? I know that I need to do all the leak testing and whatnot, but it was late yesterday and I didn't have the time after shutting the grill off (valve is definitely sealed now though).

I do get a kick out of this idea that even though we have no idea who she is, we actually do know how she was behaving at the bar. I know it was covered thoroughly upthread, but some (ok, one) still seem to think that the Croce comments have to be about the accuser.

Right. I only throw it out there because, if true, it could eliminate the "it wasn't me" defense.

A bit mark sure does sound like something they can trace.

I was driving yesterday and wound up alongside a guy with a Bills bumper sticker. I gave him the "let's go Buffalo" honk and it got a great reaction. I love that we have a car honk we can make that is almost universally understood. I wonder how many other fanbases can do that.

I have to say, the rotating daily reports of "Cassel looked good today", "Taylor looked good today", "EJ looked good today" are pretty funny. The thing seems to be overanalyzed to death, especially given that we haven't reached the first game. This thing still has a lot of time to play out. And ok, I'll admit that I've never actually seen the first quote I listed there.

I am now picturing Jeter as Dennis from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

The problem with that is the "if you knew then what you know now" angle they take. It's a completely pointless hypothetical that does nothing but wastes time. They might as well be asking what would you do if you could breathe underwater.

I just searched out there stuff and I didn't really see anything different than what I've already seen in the Buffalo News. Most of the time they were quoting them. The only different thing was a report from the Chicago paper that his house was searched. So if there's anything else out there on their site, I'd be curious to see it. I still don't see anything more specific than a rape allegation and two possible locations where they met.

I was just walking by the Durham VA hospital and I noticed two incredibly awesome things: 1. There was a truck that had the name and abbreviation of one of the units in the hospital. It was the Durham - VA Deacon and Emergency Response... or D-VADER. 2. They have one of those bells that chimes every 15 minutes. I just happened to be walking by at noon so after it did the 12 chimes, it then played Anchors Aweigh. Very cool. I really only have one desire from this movie. When Stan Lee does his usual cameo that he does in all movies based off of Marvel Comics, Deadpool needs to point him out and say something like, "hey, it's Stan Lee!".

Do we even know the allegations? All we have, last I checked, is that there is a rape investigation going on. That is incredibly vague.

I'm guessing you posted this right after he made the comment about how we now have scientific proof that there is a person at the moment of conception (my apologies for booting any potential quote here). That was my only real "what the hell is he talking about" moment of the night. The one thing that irritates me now and in the last couple months is the question to Bush about whether or not he would have gone to war in Iraq. I don't want to hear what any candidate would have done 15 or so years ago. What's done is done and we can't change that. It is a waste of time to ask that question. Then again, a lot of that "debate" was living in the past with the constant Reagan references. I personally want to see these guys distinguish themselves and not be constantly compared to someone from the past, whether it is Reagan or W.
