What exactly was Myers doing there?

Are you still doing that today? Those communication skills have just about bottomed out. I sit through so many meetings each week where even senior people are throwing out the work “like” every 2nd or 3rd word. I just cringe the whole time, feeling very glad that I don’t have a camera on as I roll my eyes.

I always enjoy awful company names. Here's a few I see all the time: - Some big bank merger down here has created a bank named Truist. I don' have much to say about it, but it's a stupid name. - A bank up in Boston near my mother-in-law's is called Salem Five Bank. Each time I see it, I always think it sounds more like the group of people robbing the bank. Why is it always the banks with dumb names? - We have two garbage removal companies down here named Junk Doctors and Backwoods Junk Removal. The jokes write themselves with these names.

Plenty of them do. The golden child around here of the president of hockey ops role is Bill Zito. Florida created that position for him at the end of the season right before they started the playoff run to their first cup. It was nothing more than a fancy title to give him a pay raise and that position has absolutely nothing to do with the team they've build... he built that before the title even existed in Florida.

I can’t wait to hear what Ray has to say during the next DeTROYit game.

Forsberg lost an edge there. No one is intentionally running a goalie during a shootout attempt. But it does make me want to suggest a rule. If you intentionally run a goalie in a shootout, your team automatically loses. edit: Hell, forfeit the loser point too.

Draisatl 100% knew what he was doing there. He has nothing to lose at that point. That brings up another issue from the last two games to keep an eye on. The two goalie runnings have been very blatant. Yes, penalties were called both times, but is it now open season on Sabre goalies? The team is going to have to do something very soon to end that.

They called a penalty on the play that took out Ellis. They didn't miss that one.

So they’re cool with a goalies leg being taken out after the starter is already gone due to a blatant running and head shot. Good to know.

One foot in and one foot out. But it doesn't matter. A skater can't initiate contact no matter where the goalie is. So that's the big question on that one... But whatever, it worked out this time.

The whole review process is such a pain already, but now add to it that the refs don't actually have to state any reason. It's not good for a tv audience, and isn't that the whole point of a game?

So they let you play for a minute or so before calling down to check on you. What could go wrong?

I want to see some colossal series of errors like this result in a 2nd and goal from your own 5 yard line.

It is definitely a change of possession. I just wonder if the league wrote in some provision to account for that crazy scenario. If it was ever going to happen, it would be in a game where the QB threw and interception and lost a fumble on the same play last

On the last play of eagles-chargers last night, Hurts threw an interception while down 3 in OT. The defender tried to get up and advance the ball. If he winds up fumbling there, is the game still over if Philly recovers but doesn’t score?

I’d imagine someone will go after that guy later. They seem to do that now.

I was just coming here to say that they need to hide these things somewhere they’ll never find them. The normal red ones look so damn good.

It sounds like the colts were disappointed when they realized Johnny Unitas wasn’t available for a workout.

Am I supposed to laugh as I watch my one year old put Cheerios in my three year old’s socks?

That would be a real shame.
