With the way teams constantly turn over the last couple roster spots throughout the year, this is just more of the same. It’s a whole lot of nothing. He’ll, I would t be surprised if Ingram lasts one week in Houston and is right back on the waiver wire, then headed back to Buffalo.

My issue is at this point where they are trying to salvage their season, they need to be playing the guy who gives them the best chance at a win. If they're playing someone else simply to showcase him, that's a mistake. And if that best chance at a win is also the guy they're showcasing, he shouldn't be on the block at all.

I don’t for a second think that this is something that happens at this stage of a season.

That win could put them within 2 points of a crazy log jam for 2nd place. It's such a strange league so far this year. -
He had 3 consecutive starts at the end of November. No one else is getting that treatment.
-
Beyond the numbers, I think it has become clear over the last stretch of games that the team believes UPL is their #1.

60 points from a 4th line guy? Sign me up right now. What’s the top line getting, 200?

Colorado lost in regulation on 10/25. That’s it. It has been 39 days now. Can they make it to Christmas?
-
And if one player looks great, guess what? He’s not out there for 75% of the game.
-
And if Norris can stick around, that slight drop in goal scoring is going to disappear fast.

Who do you move for Norris (and eventually Kesserling)?

This thought about Östlund came to mind this weekend. After that draft, I said I’d be thrilled if we could get 2 NHL centers out of those 3 first round picks. It’s starting to look like we got 3. If they ever turn it around, that draft is a huge part of it. -

Dunne has been a nice surprise, but he's very clearly the choice. He's not getting claimed, but if by some chance he does, you move on. That's a piece that is much easier to replace than anyone else. -
Dick Jauron and Pitt vs PIT…another truly thrilling start to my day.

I think there is a new champion for me on the list of most hated internet butchering of the English language. “Could of” now wears the belt. Hell, my phone just tried to autocorrect it right there.

I don’t doubt that one bit. It’s just interesting to see the shine come off a bit after making a move for the paycheck. That said, he still has plenty of time to get it back.

Does McKenna’s stop drop a bit like this if he had continued to play against children in the WHL?
-
What happened this week with Baltimore only scoring 14 on that defense?
-
Attempted murder only draws a 15 yard penalty, right? Is it the play calling that is questionable or the decision to play a QB who essentially has a cast on his hand? I’m not sure what they’re supposed to do with that kind of limitation.
-
They also need tackles. That plan yesterday was a necessity.
-
Not just stop turning over the ball, but also start to get a few from our defense. We have Allen and Cook trying to do too much. Once the D got that first turnover (it sure did help that it got them 6), the weight of the world was off their shoulders and the fun began.

Predictably unstoppable. You wouldn’t think those two words should go together, yet there was every single Kotalik shootout attempt. People are throwing around the idea that the team wants to play better in front of Ellis and not UPL. I feel like the numbers say the exact opposite. UPL has the worse save percentage but the best goals against average. I’m. It going to dive much deeper, but that to me says he’s facing the least amount of shots of the 3. But yeah, as you’re suggesting here, it’s mostly a wash across the board. We have 3 of the same guy, at least statistically.
