2025 Prospects Challenge at Harborcenter 9/11-15

I remember wondering the same thing the second he was drafted. He’s a Swede, which is probably not a good thing for any potential bloodline. -
Adam Mair Placed on Leave after DWI with 3 Kids in Car.
shrader replied to Mustache of God's topic in The Aud Club
Adam Mair has to be pretty high on their list of targets. Still, I’d expect them to go after someone like Wayne Presley first. -
I’d have to move the entire box behind the switch plate. It has 3 switches and with how this is cut into the wall, it’s a lost cause.

NHL suspends players acquitted in 2018 sexual assault trial until Dec. 1
shrader replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
These suspensions were from an agreement between the league and the PA. If there's any question about rights, I'd imagine that was addressed in the agreement as well. -
The way to avoid that is to not keep Levi up. They didn’t have to waive anyone in that scenario. Now they are essentially guaranteed to be waiving a veteran… unless they carry UPL, Lyon, and Georgiev, which is clearly not happening. I’m a bit surprised it didn’t happen as a PTO, but I’m really not all that concerned about it.

I feel like he’s in a walking boot 17 different times over the course of a season.

The lesson of the day is that no matter how many times you check to make sure the nails you're putting in the wall are level, it doesn't matter when the hooks on the back of the picture frame aren't level. I'd say that hopefully the wife won't notice, but she always does. It reminds me of a few years back when I put a big picture of our son up on the wall. I went all out, as scientific as humanly possible, to get that thing level. But as it turned out, no matter how perfectly level it is, it still looks off thanks to the light switch below it that was mounted poorly.

If he pushes for shorter term, I still think he would get that done before the start of the season. So that lessens the risk of that serious injury. What really are the chances of that injury though? I feel like we haven’t seen many of those career threateners at all during recent years. Maybe something minor pops up that costs him a million or two, but that long term ability to make a ton of money will remain. I’m not so sure it’s a serious risk.
-
It does seem like a reasonable risk to take when you’re talking about $16+ million a year. I wouldn’t be surprised if McDavid winds up doing that if he actually re-signs with Edmonton.
-
A shorter term deal and then even more money 3-4 years later?

So some super hero origin story? Superbowl's bigger.

You mean like how the entire identity of the Buffalo sports fan would have changed with a probably microscopic difference in how one football was kicked?

OT:Bills and MLSE to announce marketing relationship
shrader replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
With a brand new stadium? Yeah, you don’t ever have to worry about that again. -

Well that’s awkward. -

It says a lot about the state of college hockey that BU just named two juniors and two sophomores at their captains. Last yeah they had a sophomore captain. They have one senior on the team and he’s a transfer. I’m sure it happened, but I don’t remember any non-senior captains under Jack Parker. We’re deep into the days of one- and two-and-dones.

I do get a kick out of the games people say by saying down by 15 with 4 minutes left. I do it too. They started that drive down 15 with 7:16 left (how’s that for an omen?). So this was really a 7 minute comeback, not 4. And I don’t mean to take a thing away from them by saying it. We need to add as much drama as we can to make the stories and memories that much better.
-
The other part of the Bills win is that they had to score 3 times due to that missed conversion. I’m guessing you’re probably right with your suggestion here that these type of wins probably come in OT.
-
Or how about if the last two point conversion actually works? Baltimore gets the ball with around 2 minutes left in a tie game, only needing a field goal to win. The whole thing is just a perfect (and lucky) sequence of events that resulted in the perfect ending.
-
My random thought during that sequence of plays was that if you're Baltimore, maybe you don't call the timeouts. Anything you do is an incredibly low probability at that point, but maybe keeping the clock running messes with the Bills' plans.
