True, I just wouldn't expect people to be able to differentiate between the two. Meanwhile, coming in after the change from Carter, a change that the people actually chose, Reagan entered at only a 50% approval. Ford is just a guy I never would have expected to see a number north of 50%, let alone 70%, given that he was never elected in any form for that role.

I'd love to know what goes into someones thoughts for their approval of a president. I would have expected Ford to start at a very low number given how he took office, but somehow he started at 70%. I would not have expected the "he's not Nixon" sentiment to rule the day in that initial poll given that he was Nixon's VP.

Seriously though, I think comparisons across sports are pointless, especially given that the draft system in these two specific leagues are different. The games themselves are very different too. It's crazy to look over that list of national bouncyball association champions though. Is there any other league where two teams account for 50% of all of the championships ever won? I'm assuming that percentage has dropped slightly below 50% in the last couple years, but still, what a crazy number.

And if you really get down to it, multiple Hart Trophies carry a lot of weight. I for one am well over the whole quitting thing, but at the end of the day, only one Sabres got his name on that trophy and he did it twice.

I'd be curious to see how these approval ratings are impacted by our overexposure to media today. It seems like all of that is more likely to make someone dislike something.
